So the only visible changes are those mentioned already; the toolbar changes and the achievements score :).

Achievements show up differently too. Much more emphasis on when you achieve something. And greater pixel/achievement rewards for using facebook?

I dislike the new "achievement score" thing... I think they should put it as some sort of new widget on your Habbo Home Page rather than adding it below your avatar.
I also think the grey box around your pixel (when you click someone) is highly unnecessary... oh well :P

Not everyone will be interested but some people will be. It helps people in being recognised for their achievements :).

It's badges you achieve not ones you get from quests, habbo staff, polls etc.

On my old account i have level 7 true habbo, level 6 respects, level 5 logging in a row & level 7 hotel time but I've only got 30 points? :S

I keep clicking the "Shop"instead of "Rooms!" :P

Don't really see why they've made the update, I suppose it's a bit easier for newer members (Shop / Rooms / Friends - they're all to the point).
The quest thing looks interesting too, for snowflakes. Quite looking forward to that! :)

Most of this update seems highly uneccesary to me.

Not the best update, but we'll get used to it just like when we had to get used to BETA, hotels joined together, etc.

The zoom function is bad, should have kept that to side... but at least it is less cluttered.

The achievements thing is just a bit like forum rep on here, but just based on what you've done well at with badges.

The quest "snowflake" thing looks interesting and probably will be like pixels... we may get 5 quests and get 1 point per completed correctly quest and then a final one if all are correct... and obviously the best thing will be for people who've done all quests...

Looks like something for Christmas 2010. The last line in this screenshot is not perfectly English.

I (Mark) think it means:

"6 snowflakes you can use to buy snowflakes furni from the catalogue during december."

I think snowflakes are something like the Pixels. You can collect them and spend them in the catalogue for some items. Time will tell..

This could suggest snowstorm in some way with the snowflakes, but whats it's also suggesting is the snowflakes are like pixels (as someone said in puh) maybe for the skating effect, or maybe actual furniture.

For that exact reason. They want to focus on the newer members but then they bring back such a subtle change that only older members would notice so it sways the entire opinion of the update.

Edit: Also love the northern hemisphere specific Christmas. Let's get all the people in Australia (who are experiencing Summer in christmas) to collect snowflakes. Another bad idea for the merge.

Not sure on the points thing. I know Scott (the achievement obsessed freak :P) has a lower score than me. I am at 1.6k and I am no where near finishing all my achievements. I have so many left to go.

I am not a very active competition participating person.. but seriously.. I have 20 points?! Which is even fine by me.. Don't care much but its made my trading incredibly hard :l I've been a member for nearly 6 years and I have little kiddies going "ROFLLLLL LMAO 20 Achievement points!1111OMGZ N00B11" They should find a way to hide it or something.

I like the xmas idea.. very erm.. Runescape like. Just like the Marketplace thing. More excitement than trading :)

Wow lots of people don't seem to like this update. I personally like the achievement system, it was not necessary but it was a cool addon to add. The only thing I dislike is the hotel view button being on the room description menu.
