Well I said Collector's edition. Considering one of them is called Collectors Edition and the other is Signature Edition I presumed it obvious which I meant :S.

I'm not intending to sound like a right douchebag BTW :P. I know some review sites seem to have labelled confusingly.

Yeah but some people will just call the signature the collectors edition since it technically is and bla bla bla. It's k, id probably react the same :P

Game, I ordered it (for the 3rd time... after I cancelled twice when it got delayed) on the 14th November. In theory I'll have it Tuesday, Royal Fail is usually next working day for us.

That's the first time I've ever heard the experience of using a PS3 described as an economic system :P.

And the online gameplay on the 360 and PS3 are very similar.

Basically I am looking for a comparison with any well known popular racing game you can think of. NFS just happened to be the first game I saw on my rack of games.

Gran Turismo is THE best racing game series on the planet, it's pretty much the reason why a lot of people have chosen the PS3 over the 360 :P

Forza tries to be Gran Turismo but it just isn't the same (I have Forza 3 and have played GT 2, 3, 4 :P)

I think I am gonna go for the ps3 anyway - seems to be built for the future better than the xbox

There's just so many tracks and cars it's amazing, the career is challenging and fun, + in GT5 you'll have karting, rallying and all sorts. The physics and customisability are fantastic and by the looks of it, GT5 is set to be the best game graphically we've ever seen :P

Oh, and the multiplayer, freakin' love it.

It's supposedly a great game but it doesn't compare to Forza 3 if IGN is anything to go by.

IGN rated Gran Turismo 8.5 ("Great") and Forza Motorsport 3 9.4 ("Outstanding"). I personally have always went by IGN ratings but taking into consideration that I have neither game I'd be happy to go out and buy Gran Turismo and pick up Forza while I'm at it.

Urgh still didn't come even though I preordered almost 3 months ago :/ Don't see why they couldn't send it on monday instead of tuesday for gods sake.

All I can do is sit and watch the new trailers and gameplay :(
