Welcome to Habbo, select your language o.O

http://www.habbo.com/groups/welcome-habbo

I wonder what thats for, are all hotels joining but you get a option to choose a language? Time will tell...

What I think is, Habbo.com is the main hotel, so on advertisments Habbo will link it to that group page, as all the buttons link to different hotels. Maybe?

The links (at the moment) take you to the different hotels...but that could change.

Realtime language translating would be cool!

It would but I'd rather not have a "super hotel" for various reasons. I don't want to have to change all my habbo names (again) ect. But still, if they merge they merge and I guess we can try and get more European people onto the site?

Hmmm, as mentioned above... are all hotels joining together, that would be bad!

I agree, why are they directing people to habbo.com? I know they are directing people to the hotels of the languages that they speak, but why are they getting the english habbo involved with it?

Maybe theyre merging the general sites but having seperate servers for the client.

oh god can you imagine the HUGE language problem in the hotel that would occur with one super hotel.

They wouldn't merge all hotels together, .com appears on many national googles aswell as that nations habbo. It is most likely a link to other hotels.

Will be writing on the homepage in diff language and news in hotel etc. Just not the way people type.

If they were going to merge all hotels they wouldn't have recently merged Germany and Switzerland.

If they were going to merge all hotels they wouldn't have recently merged Germany and Switzerland.

Why not? Surely it is easier to merge a few big hotels than lots of small hotels?

The point is they're merging all the hotels which speak the same language, not the world generally.

Switzerland speak French German Italian and their own language so that is obviously not the case.

And if they did would they not merge the brazilian & mexican ones with the Spanish one?

But in the long term sulake are going to do whatevers neccesary to cut costs, this may be part of that plan.
