No worries :)

They always have deals emailed out like every few days or something.

But they very rarely have advertisements like this for it, or have them so short.

Hopefully it will be good.

I believe one of the other items is a dvd drive. would be good if the ipad was cheap on there tbh, also not many people will probably find it :)

No it's not. The point of these drives is data storage. 5400rpm = quieter and less energy consumption. Just what you want for file storage.

I dont know how you took it when i put "10% cheaper than Amazon"... firstly i think you thought i was putting that as my opinion, well it was on the ebuyer site. - if not then :8

To be truthful i do agree with what you are saying and a lot of other people were putting the same... go get one from somewhere else at a better price and faster too.

To be honest, it isn't an amazing deal, but I wasn't expecting it to be.

I am looking forward to the PS3 and iPad ones.

I can't figure out if that's a good deal. With an NUS card you get 5% off and then you add the free delivery, which doesn't make it far off, about £1 or so extra? If you've got Amazon Premium then Amazon maybe a better option :P Not an amazing offer, but you save some money at least (even if you use an NUS card on Amazon and free delivery). I assume it's going to get better.

Yeah same.

I had a music exam today (like third one in a month, rip off), but anyway.. the music exam took ages to start, then got delayed because of a cd problem. Would have got one if it wasn't for that >:{

Any idea what model it was guys?

Literally the worst amount of stock on that. I was online at 11, checked the offer; of course i'll buy one for that price I thought to myself. Checked my bank balance online, went to order it and oh they'd sold out, this was by like quarter past 11 :/ but yeah it was 120gb slimline.

Wouldn't be shocked if people bought like ten each though.

It's a shame. Are there any difference between the 'old' slim models, and the 160/320gb models? :S

Apparently it's just the HDD and a new cooling chip for the graphics card and/or the entire system. There are no other differences, according to the internet at least :)

EDIT: Oh, and they use less power too.

Indeed, the only problem was with all the PS3s being snatched in a matter of moments :P

Does anyone know how much the PS3 was sold for? I'm interested to know how much of a discount you're getting.

399.99 about £40 off.

Not as much of a bargain as i thought as the official apple site are charging £429.99 which means only saving £30.

They sold out within like 10 minutes

StefanWolves

Worked out to about 8% off... pretty poor IMO.

AgnesIO
25-11-2010, 03:35 PM
To be fair I wouldn't be surprised if they were making no profit. So it is a fair discount.

I would be shocked if apple give space for companies to charge much less than them..
