Basically every time I turn my computer off it always says it is installing updates, when it isnt. I left it on for a good 18 hours at once and I'm pretty sure it's not doing anything...
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

Does it say that it has updates to install? When you shut it down does it say on the screen "Installing Windows Updates 1 out of blah blah" ?
