Hey,

This is probably the best section for this. If not oops. I'm in a show in town every night this week. Doing the musical, Hello Dolly!. What's a good thing to have before a show? Honey is good if you just let it slide down your throat. Anyone know of any other good things like this, home remedies, sweets etc.

+Rep for good answers

Cough sweets/boiled sweets, lots of water and vocal warm ups.

So boiled sweets are good? Why? Also, if by cough sweets you mean things like Soothers and Halls they are very good if you're speaking but not good if you need to get up and sing.

Boiled sweets help me give me a bit of a sugar rush but also soothe my throat so I can sing louder ect. Other than that I can't think of anything.

My advice would be water & vocal warm ups and maybe boiled sweet/soother & a bit of honey :)

But it's what works for you
