Snow Flake Quests

Start your Christmas Quests, earn Snowflakes and get free gifts... whether you’ve been naughty or nice :D
Christmas is approaching faster than a Reindeer on steroids and as always we’re spreading the cheer with gifts for everyone. But this year you can choose your own presents! No nasty socks from Grandma in sight ;)

Puffin, SmoothCriminal and Fozzie took a vote and the results were unanimous... it’s never too early to start the festivities! So Habbos, read the instructions below and help us ensure this is the silliest season yet.

How To Get Your Gifts:

- By completing daily quests you will earn 'Snowflakes'. Snowflakes allow you to choose free gifts from the Catalog. The more Snowflakes you earn by finishing the quests, the more presents you can receive.

- You can access your own personal Quest Calendar by clicking on the icon in the toolbar, or by double clicking on the new Calendar Furni that you now can get from the new Snowflake Gifts Page for just 400 Pixels. From the Quest Calendar you will see which Quests are currently available, which ones you have accepted and which ones you have completed.

- There will be a new quest every day this week until November 25. Each quest will be available until January 3rd, so be sure to finish them on time to earn all your Snowflakes!

- Your mission for each quest is to locate a specific Furni item in the Hotel. The Furni can belong to you or a friend or you could source it from the Catalog if you wanna be sneaky. Once you’ve tracked down the Furni simply double click it and you’ll earn a Snowflake!

- The more quests you complete, the more Achievements you unlock as well. And with each Achievement you will earn an additional Snowflake. You need to complete two quests to unlock the first Achievement.

- Don't see the Quest Icon yet? Try logging in again and it will be there.
But What Can I Get With My Snowflakes?

- Each quest is worth one Snowflake. Once you’ve completed all three quests you’ll be able to get the Ice Hockey Penguin (worth 3 Snowflakes) or the Ballerina Penguin (worth 2 Snowflakes). Both Penguins are not tradable and will waddle away on January 3rd 2011.

Please note: the next three days are just a taste of things to come! There will be loads of new quests and more Snowflake gifts starting on December 1st. You can even save your first Snowflakes for later, but be sure to spend them before the New Year.

Just did the blind toilet one. We jumped on the 17-Jamie-17 had one (for some god forsaken reason) and put it down in his room. As quickly as he could, he put the room name as bling toilet and also put an event on saying bling toilet. It was full in under five minutes.

I think this will be a pretty good campaign and it will be good if Habbox jump on it as well.

My personal opinion on the first quest though... how total utter ********. Find a piece of furniture and double click it? Really? They gave 1 snowflake when the first item to buy is 2 snowflakes. I personally think they got impressed on how much progress they did and decided to release it early to show off.

Nah I think they released it early purely to test it and see if it will cope etc but atleast they put loads of effort in this year ;p

I think this too, because they said they were just trying a few quest out before doing the bigger main ones.

I don't have them on this unbanned account either but they shouldn't just recycle things. The old penguins should be an item that the players on Habbo 2008 or whatever received. That's it, they can look back and know they got that item in that period.

everybody is changing room names to quest or bling toilet to get people in their rooms anyway - so its pretty easy to find one :P

This has the potential to be brilliant, an interactive campaign for Christmas. This is brilliant! Much better than just another addition of furniture. I haven't said this in a while, but well done habbo! Im sticking around for this! The only way they can **** it up is by using **** prizes!

Yeh! But making us find super rares will also be good because people wont know where to find the furni, so there will be no rooms saying 'COME HERE TO GET A SNOWFLAKE BY CLICKING GOLDEN TOILET' :P

Those quests were absolutely brilliant and I hope Habbo take a leaf out of their book.
Various tasks for one quest, saying certain things, visiting certain places, standing on certain objects, obtaining certain items, etc.

I think I'm gonna save them too unless it's something that jumps out as being a good piece of furniture. The penguins really don't appeal to me (already have them all) and I have a feeling that this years "Christmas treat" is simply releasing all 26 of those again :P We'll see. I do like the two new posters though! :)

They put the prices up, but the reward for completing the second quest is two so I'm not sure what to think.

For completing the achievement you get 1 additional snowflake, but im not sure as to why the price was increased on the penguins

Snowflake Quests Descriptions:

Day 1
• Mission Description = Time to find a proper Christmas tree! Remember the bigger it is, the more presents can fit under there!
• Mission Completed = Yay! You did it. You managed to find a Christmas tree.

Day 2
• Mission Description = The weather outside is so cold, you better relax at in front of the fireplace. Who has the marshmallows?
• Mission Completed = Don't you feel better now? It's cosy and warm here.

Day 3
• Mission Description = Light up the dark end of the street and get ready for a white Christmas.
• Mission Completed = Yay! Covered with snow even street lamps look romantic.

Day 4
• Mission Description = Give Mr Snowman a hug. He feels so lonely outside in the cold. But don't hold on too long or he'll melt!
• Mission Completed = Thanks for cheering Mr Snowman up! Although he did talk about pressing charges against one of you for being a bit too curious with your hands...

Day 5
• Mission Description = Go skating and play the Tag game with your friends.
• Mission Completed = Wow perfect salchow! Looks like you were born with ice skates.

Day 6
• Mission Description = There might be something to warm you up at the shopping area. Yummy?
• Mission Completed = Bon appétit ! Enjoy your roasted chestnuts (That's what she said!).

Day 7
• Mission Description = Do a good deed, get him out of the cold and stop him from vandalising the statue. He's freezing: remove snow from the statue.
• Mission Completed = «Cooo cooo!» which means: «Thanks and Sorry about the mess!» in pigeonlanguage.

Day 8
• Mission Description = Remove snow from the sidewalks. Someone may fall, and might be the poor guy who has to pick them up and then wait for an hour for an ambulance to pick them up...
• Mission Completed = Thanks for cleaning the sidewalk. By doing this, you probably prevented zillions of Habbos from a broken leg.

Day 9
• Mission Description = He's waiting for you at the shopping area - Hurry up: he?s naked, and starting to get a bit chilly (and undignified).
• Mission Completed = Congratulations on decorating our giant Christmas tree.

Day 10
• Mission Description = Make this star shine!
• Mission Completed = By lighting this star you surely brought luck on each and every Habbo. Thanks for that.

Day 11
• Mission Description = Does it prevent the Hotel from fire?
• Mission Completed = Phew! Thanks for checking the fire hydrant. It was out of order but it works again now.

Day 12
• Mission Description = Remove snow from the bench. Otherwise it might look a bit embarassing ;)
• Mission Completed = You saved yourself a bit of grief there!

Day 13
• Mission Description = Looks like you're running low on ammo! Reload now or get a mouthful of snow!
• Mission Completed = Talk about a game-changer! Victory is now within your grasp!

Day 14
• Mission Description = Danny! The pipes, the pipes are broken! Find the geysers before they start spraying something less... healthy!
• Mission Completed = Alright! Looks like it won't be a brown Christmas after all!

Day 15
• Mission Description = Get out of the sin-bin and into the game!
• Mission Completed = And the crowd goes wild!

Day 16
• Mission Description = What the heck was that?!? Go to the shopping mall and be sure to stay safe by picking up the right item!
• Mission Completed = A Christmas Miracle! By passing this gate you're now able to play Freeze! The brand new Habbo game released tomorrow.

Day 17
• Mission Description = FREEZE! is released today, but if it's too much for you just take this day to gather your strength.
• Mission Completed = Now you're all rested up and ready to continue your Christmas adventures!

Day 18
• Mission Description = Wow, it's colder than Auntie Trish outside and we've just made an amazing discovery- get to the Mall to find out for yourself!
• Mission Completed = Argh! You found the frozen T-Rex! Now all our history books (all three of them) will have to rewritten (should take a few minutes)!

Day 19
• Mission Description = It ain't Christmas without it, even if you're usually too full to finish it off yourself ;)
• Mission Completed = You saved Christmas! Now sit back and pat your tummy in preparation.

Day 20
• Mission Description = The star of the show. Just make sure you keep your cat shut out of the kitchen!
• Mission Completed = Ah you found the turkey! I thought we'd have to eat Spam on Christmas Day! (Not that there's anything wrong with Spam!)

Day 21
• Mission Description = Santa's favourite elf, Kafka Mungbean, has gone missing! Help us find him before he does something his wife won't forgive him for!
• Mission Completed = You found Mungbean! Lets hope his wife lets him sleep on the couch tonight.

Day 22
• Mission Description = We need him to lead the big Christmas barndance and he's gone on the lam!
• Mission Completed = Thanks for bringing Rudolph back, now we can celebrate Christmas in a downhome fashion!

Day 23
• Mission Description = You don't want Santa to crash on Christmas eve do you? Well be best double check the sled...
• Mission Completed = Brakes, battery, coolant. All systems go thanks to you! (And that weird *rocking* sound was a golf ball.)

Day 24
• Mission Description = Santa's gonna have a long night ahead, and he'll need your help to stay awake! Go give him a little poke!
• Mission Completed = Okay, that's enough. You guys went a bit overboard there and poor Santa is covered in bruises!

Day 25
• Mission Description = Celebrate Christmas with your friends and have some top-notch nosh!
• Mission Completed = I bet you're stuffed to bursting!

Day 26
• Mission Description = Time to drop your Christmas tree like a bad smell before it messes up your street cred, like an uncool best friend.
• Mission Completed = Saying goodbye is never easy is it? But now you're free!



Using the descriptions I guess there is going to be:
- Big Christmas Tree (deduced from day 1)
- Street lamps with snow on (deduced from day 3)
- Mr Snowman (deduced from day 4)
- Roasted Chestnuts (deduced from day 6)
- Statue with snow on (deduced from day 7)
- Snowy Sidewalks (deduced from day 8)
- Shining Star (deduced from day 10)
- Fire Hydrient (deduced from day 11)
- Snowy Bench (deduced from day 12)
- The turkey (deduced from day 20)


New Game:
- A new game called 'Freeze'. Sounds intresting! (deduced from day 16+17)

There are 3 extra quests too.

Extra Quest 1

• Mission Description = Sing carols with the bots at the Shopping Area. Help them with the forgotten lyrics and learn what they really need for their song to work.

• Mission Completed = Congratulations! You found a mic for the x-mas carol bots. Now they won't need to belt out in the cold any more. Quest completed!

Extra Quest 2

• Mission Description = What's happening? Go and check at the shopping area and ask the sad bots. They seem to be missing someone. Find who it is and what needs to be done to complete this quest.

• Mission Completed = Yay, thanks to you, Santa Claus finally came to town! Bots swept their tears.

Extra Quest 3

• Mission Description = Seen all these bots outside at the shopping area? Maybe you could do something for one of them there. He seems pretty lost at the moment? Find who it is and save the day to complete this quest.

• Mission Completed = Hurray, thanks to you and this delicious gingerbread house, Bob-E will again please all his guests for Xmas Eve this year!

I think it looks like quite a good idea, it has a simple concept so it's not confusing but it's maybe a bit too easy. Everyone's changing room names to like "SNOWFLAKE QUEST HERE" etc though so they obviously didn't think that through very well :P.

I think habbo put every day of december a new icy furni in the catalogue. (There are 25 icy furnis total) Which you can buy with snowflakes.

Todays quest is to click a street light and you get 5 snowflakes again + 1 extra if you've already done the other quests as you move to the next stage of the badge.
