I'm looking for a pair of gloves that you can get from a high street shop because I'm going in town tomorrow so that leaves out ordering online. Preferably black and thick so you don't feel the cold, anybody got any ideas or bought anything similar recently?

If you just want some that are warm then literally any clothing store's likely to have them at the moment, somewhere like TK Maxx will have their usual jumble sale selection

I know people on hxf like to post about every single piece of clothing they buy but for **** sake gloves are gloves...
Go to your local shop/newsagents and buy some for like a pound or two, all shops have them - job done.

Gloves aren't just gloves, you get different kinds. A pair of gloves that I can buy for two pound out of a corner shop aren't going to compare to a pair of thinsulate gloves.
With that said, I managed to get my hands on a pair of thinsulate gloves. Cheers guys!

After posting what I said in #3, I decided to go and buy some from the market myself the next day! Mine cost me £3 which was really good value for a big brand name!
