View Full Version : Crown.

Basically, my crown is loose. I went to the dentist on Monday and she told me that she couldn't pull it out because she didn't want to damage the root. She told me to come back when it was really wobbly or when it dropped out.
It's a bit wobblier, but I realised how can it come out with another crown and a normal tooth stuck at the side of it? I want to pull it out gently or at least wobble it to get it more loose.
Would you reccommend it because it is frankly annoying.

Just buy a few WHAM or Vimto bars. This always used to get loose teeth out of my set.

Just to be on the safe side i'd keep it in. Although wobbling it a small bit just the see if it's stuck couldn't hurt i suppose.

Well if you want it fixed I guess you will have to make it wobblier.

I think it's got looser.
How do I pull it out tho rly.
Tie a piece of string round it and attach it to a brick and throw the brick off the roof :)

Normally I don't get queezy while reading about things, but this genuinely made me feel sick, especially with the vimto bar comment xD!
Personally I would just leave it, and just try to make it wiggle more by pushing it back and forth with your tongue. Like your dentist said, you could damage the root if you try to force it out. Teeth usually come out in their own time, so just enjoy the strange feeling while it lasts :P.
I can remember the last tooth I lost, oh it was fun and such a relief when it came out. It was like I'd grown up xD!

The thing is though. It's really wobble, but will not come out at all.
However, I think it's detached from the screw not the gum as I said above. If it had detached at the gum surely it would come out?
I can wiggle it back and forth.

How does this make you queezy lol? Most of my school textbooks have gorier stuff. :)

Its the thought of using a vimto bar to get the tooth stuck and then it being forced from your gums while you chew. I can imagine the sensations you would feel.
Like I said, I don't usually get queezy from stuff like this, I've read and seen much worse. I think its just one of those little things which really gets to you :P.
