Becoming a sparky!

Right, im lookin for a career change, and i want to learn the trade of a electrician, but finiding a course is a pain, i dont have the time to go back to college to do the course, as i work part-time, and it wouldnt fit in with the course aswell, im just wondering if anyone knos any other options that they've tried or completed, i've tried a few training centres, and home learning, but train4trade skills, is just a big con.. and that was the one that sounded most appealing.

Any help, id be most grateful, im in Kent for people that may need to know, but i dont mind travelling, as my job i could move stores. :)

My dad did somthing where you learnt a book and did a test.. But he got it so he could do stuff to the house XD And now he is making electronic clocks
