Hello everyone,
I was thinking maybe the forum should add an RSS-FEED top the Habbo News & Rumors section.
This is just a suggestion.

I don't like the idea of attaching any form of feed to the News + Rumours section. It's nice having members get involved, post the news and comment on it in the same thread :)

I'm absolutely positive this was put in place in the past and pretty much killed the section of members posting.

There used to be a bot in the public forums and people hated it and wanted it gone if I remember correctly.

When I first entered the news department we had a robot which would post news articles into the Habbo News section.

It continuously "broke" and then spammed up the forums and new posts list with backdates articles.

Another one of the huge problems, it that it would re-post articles when they were edited on the site too making it look messy, and in the end the decision was made by me and some others to remove it.

We want forum activeity to be high too, and it's nice for members to be able to post news on the forum too and get active discussion going. We do our job primarily on the site, and things will continue like this after V6. There isn't really a need for a bot, and he's now enjoying a happy retirement as a slave in my senior news reporters forum where he still tries to send articles to the forum (and mostly fails)

This is a horrible idea. /thread

Why? It was tried in the past and REALLY did not work.

At all. No really, it was terrible.

Edit: Although, something like the following but linking to the habbo articles would be nice

Note: People on the following forum are immature and swear a lot, if sensitive take the initiative and don't click

Bolt and I removed it because it generated so many moans that it was unbelievable! Problems occurred each time we edited an article, multiple threads would be created, and it was even more headache to prune that all etc.
