cont

anyway the snow reminds me of mine, one time on my 7th birthday in canada i was so pumped for my birthday party cos we had got a magician to come to my house and stuff and i invited like everyone from my grade to come but the night before and all that day it snowed real heavy and ONLY TWO PEOPLE SHOWED UP which were my next door neighbours
even the magician didn't show up..........it has actually scarred me for life and i don't even think i've ever had a big birthday party since

Sounds like you didn't have a big party then either

Can't really pinpoint any one event that was that awful in my childhood tbh, although on my 8th birthday I got told off by my teacher for swinging on my chair and I remember being extremely indignant because you obv can't tell someone off on their birthday :S:S:S

Hope I'm not too many peoples' worst childhood memory

Mine would probably be eating a ton of chilis and ending up in the A&E.

probably my only vivid childhood memory pre-5 is my dad packing up his stuff to move out :( I especially remember him moving his business card hold which had like swans in it off his desk to a box aha.

The one I remember really well was when, me and my cousin were both 7 or 8, and we were on holiday in Italy. My uncle was took us to the beach, but he fell asleep so we took this little inflatable boat and went into the sea,we only went into shallow water, and both got on. We were playing this pirate game and didn't realise we had drifted into deep water. So we both started to panic, then my cousin jumped off the boat to check how deep it was. But he couldn't touch the bottom, so he got back in and we both just screamed for hours until a lifeguard finally noticed us and we were rescued. When we got back to land, our uncle was still asleep just like we left him!

my dad packing up his stuff to move out :(

this, i vividly remember being at my next door neighbor/best friend's house and hearing police sirens and the police car in my driveway. i screamed and ran home to find them telling my dad he had to leave and my mom just kinda standing there i guess (i don't remember her as much in that) and not getting to see him again.

When I was 2 or 3 and my brother knocked down my tower blocks, so I screamed at him and then he bit me - like properly - wouldn't let go and I started bleeding. I was terrified.

When I was like 8 we went on holiday to this place every year and stuff and this boy and his sis went too and we were all friends and stuff and this other girl meets us and we're all friends and one day she chased me and kissed me so I was like OMG SHE BE MY WIFE ONE DAY and the night before we left the other guy got all upset for some unknown random reason and she hugged him! so I got well upset. We got a letter from her a week after telling us that him and her kissed eachother goodbye :( Year after that me and him had a fight tho so it was kk plus I found out he never saw her again

But that holiday I lost my future wife :(

Not to be rude, but can I ask what happened? Sorry, it just interests me.

And mines probably when I got hackorzzz on habbo
lol jk im not that sad

probably when my dad hit me, the only time he properly did. I'm glad he did as it stopped me from doing alot of crap I think (I started swearing when I was like 5, although I did not know it was swearing it could have grew worse). Worst part was though, it was my friend who was also swearing who told him :/ I hate him now for various reasons. **** head.

Ever since the age of 10, when I was bad my Dad would make me strip to my underwear and he would whip my bare flesh (so it hurt more) with his belt. So I think my worst childhood memory was the first time he introduced this. I would always get smacked with his hand, but one day, he used his hand and it didn't hurt, and I just laughed at him. The next thing I know, he's practically ripped the shirt off my back and he's whipping me. I can just remember me howling in pain.

its fine :P
my family is full of trouble and he is an alcoholic and chain smoker (he started at 15) and then his stepdad was an alcoholic too. he treated my mother horribly and kept getting arrested etc and i remember being a kid and leaving at around 11 pm or 12 am many days and me sleeping in the backseat on the way to the jail to see him. he used to yell and swear at my mother and they got in huge fights. he never really worked and he stole money and objects from my mom, brother and myself. my mom finally got fed up and called the police to take him away and thats when that memory happened. she also never sued him for child support which i thought was so stupid because she can already make it work on one income, with extra we'd live more comfortably as now its really hard for her and she stresses allllll the time. however he'd probably never pay it anyways seeing as he doesn't have a job :P he actually sent me a letter for my birthday in march and sent one to my mom and my grandma too and tried to get me to come visit and lied about being in jail. my mom found out and needless to say i wasn't planning on going with him when he got out of jail :P (lol he didn't even know what grade i was in.....) anyways he's not a good man.

I was 8, bodyboarding somewhere in the South of Ireland. Clear ocean, no sign of rain, everything good. Made it quite a distance out and then looked down. JELLYFISH RISING LIKE THE SPEED OF LIGHT EVERYWHERE AROUND ME JESUS CHRIST ITS HORRIFYING.

Had to paddle back with my hands obviously, got stung loads of times. And I'm now terrified of the ocean.

Apparently I've never liked water since I was a baby but when I was about 6 I was in Devon and my Dad owned a boat. We went into the sea and then I fell in, luckily with a floater thing on. I can't swim today because I'm terrified of deep water.

when we had these things called 'merit badges' in my young primary school for doing good work. I always was good and kind, so i got one most months. you can earn a merit badge every month and they are presented in assembley in front of the WHOLE SCHOOL. so anyways one day i thought i heard my name (laura) but it turns out the teacher said lara. I was skipping down the isle to get 'my' merit badge and she was like 'umm not you, LARA SHENNAN' omg i was SOOO EMBARSSED. but then on my way back to my seat i tripped lara up cos she was coming to collect it. haha medical room for her :)
