Well I thought it was serious anyways. Unfortunately the other half of the relationship changed his mind and decided it didn't mean anything to him sooo yeah.

im not going to argue with a 12 year old about relationships. clearly you know everything about them, humble miss, and i'm very sorry to have questioned your wisdom regarding such social customs. never again will i even attempt to cast doubt over your superior information and if i ever do so well you can clean cut my arms so i can never dare type such curiosity about your genius.

wow srs bzns up in here
mmmm i would say 1 serious:) FIRST LOVE AND ALL THAT. well only love. 1 year on/off, wouldn't go back there though ^^ CAUSE HE'S ******* MARRIED. even though it was, for the majority of it, an immature relationship it was a first-time experience for many things *TMI* ahaha i am glad i had it though, learnt a lot about relationships & what i want in future.
& although my new one is probably the most mature, it's not serious & i doubt it ever will be. i don't think i'll have one for a very long time.........not until my tutor divorces his wife anyway... jk

You're like 12, relationships are anything BUT serious at that age. When you get a bit older (16/17) you'll realise that the type of relationships you have when you were 12 can't really even be considered as relationships lol. "We gunna snog afta skwl yeh?" can people stop dictating to me on what is a serious relationship is?!
it's what I think is a serious-ish relationship, so pack it in!

He's right though. What a serious relationship is is not an opinion. It has a defined definition. No relationship of a 13 or 12 years old is serious. You are not serious about it..aka you are not considering getting married. It's just "to be cool". Guys who have gfs at that age are "cool".
So I doubt you have had any serious relationships. You may think you have but serious is where you are Have been together a long time and are (probably) having sex and all that.
So don't spout back "it's what I think". It's not. There is a definition of a serious relationship and 2 13 year olds having a quick smog after school once a week does not fit it.
FlyingJesus
01-12-2010, 02:35 PM
Serious-ish = not serious, purely for the fact that if it was serious you wouldn't be in any doubt about it. This is the case at any age not just for 13 year olds

1 two year relationship which i count as serious! I'm in one now second year.
beautiful
01-12-2010, 03:49 PM
Erm, two. Maybe? One lasted like 1 1/2 years and the other lasted for like 4-5 years but I wouldn't really call them serious 'cause I was a kid.
two, but my current relationship is probably the most serious relationship i've ever had.

Why thank you James I do try!
I try to leave a relationship on a positive, although most would go extremely negative at the start, plus they'd sleep around after. I'd try and not let that get in the way and make an attempt on friendship a few months down the line when they've calmed down :) No point in holding grudges with anyone if you ask me.
Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you. :D
so 2 years 3 months then LOL
lolololol well done.

because when 12 years old grow up they'll realise what they thought was "love" at 12 is completely different to what a serious relationship actually is.

i agree, but it's a true fact of life. i know younger members will get pissed when older members flame them for it, and make out they know better, but one day it'll all become clear.
Two, one which lasted a year and a half from when I was 17 to almost 19, and the other which I'm currently in right now, it has only been four months but it is serious to the extent of we KNOW we love eachother and as we are looking to move in together. I don't want any smart replies from anyone saying 'aw how do you know it's love' etc., because I'm more then likely older then 95% of people on here and maybe I just know ;)
