Hey,

I am looking at the ePad as I want something small for in college just for me to check emails and browse the internet while I’m in a lecture or on the road etc... I don’t want to spend £500+ on a iPad as it will only be used for email etc... I am looking at the ePad because of the cheap price, had anyone had any experience with them or recommend something else?

Thanks Jamie

iPad's only £430 ( upwards if you want bigger GB )

If you want a cheaper thing then the iPad, just get a small notebook,

You mustn't use it properly then. You can check emails and browse the Internet there. Plus you don't need to pay for 3G because it's already packaged with the phone, as to the ePad which probably isn't and requires wi-fi.

Surely that's all you need, as my partner Pyroka has already mentioned? I'm fairly certain lecturers won't care if you whip out your phone to check emails, as long as you have the phone on silent and don't wave it around distracting people, which I am guessing is why you want something to go with it?

Wait for an ASUS eeePad, laptop spec (albeit not spectacular) tablet that comes with a keyboard 'dock' (bottom half of a laptop essentially).

Out Q1 next year.
