View Full Version : FTP Help!
Well I have recently downloaded a newer version of ZScreen (I'm not 100% happy with it and I am hopefully going to downgrade to the old one soon) and I am having trouble setting up my own FTP Server. Does anyone know how to do it? I think I have put in the correct information but when I click 'test connection' it says "550 Can't change directory to ***: Permission denied" I have taken out the directory for security purposes. I put the directory in public_html and made a folder called screenshots but that didn't work.
Can anyone help?
+Rep to all good answers
Seems like you don't have sufficient permissions. There should be a file that handles permissions for your ftp connection.
I found this article that might help you, although they are using filezilla, I can't imagine it's that much different.

Marky, what are you trying to do exactly.
I have this programme called screen and all that does is takes screenshots and uploads them to tinypic etc. You can also upload the screenshots to an FTP server, but Im confused on how to set it up on cpanel and zscreen.
