If Habbo started a new collection of collectibles or rares next year, do you think it would be a good idea to only have a limited number of them to give out? Like lets say 1000? 2000? Thoughts and comments on this idea?
It could have good points & bad points...
Good: They will become rare and will limit the people who have them.
Bad: If people want a lot then they wont be able to get them.

Would be a good idea but habbo would lose out on shed loads of money, the only way this would work if the rares were extremely expensive.

This has been suggested in the past and I think this would be great for like a limited edition rare where only a few hundred, maybe a thousand, are 'in stock' to be sold on :).
It's a good idea, but I can't see it being implemented,
Habbo, as stated above, would lose out on a lot of people buying credits for the rare and it would probably be released during a certain time, i.e for 10 minutes only, so it would be favouritising one group of people, whether it be Americans, English, Singaporians or others.
If it was Habbo.co.uk again, I could see it maybe happening, but not on .com

Perhaps they could sell 250 every 6 hours for a day so in total there would be 1000 fairly evenly distributed. However they would have to be limited to 1 or 2 per Habbo otherwise someone could end up buying the whole lot.
