Did the new bobba/asterisk system just come into effect?

Apparently on my main KamikazeKyle I just got banned for having an inappropriate username for 11 years. This is just the tip of the ice berg with Sulake's crappy moderation in this game. I am not really sure how to approach this issue now or who to contact to try and get this resolved any help would be appreciated. This is just super annoying since I haven't had an previous incidents with warnings or such. I don't even really know how KamikazeKyle is inappropriate to begin with.

I am pretty angry as this will now put me behind on advent calendar days but whatever.

A Kamikaze is a fighter plane used for suicide missions by Japanese pilots in World War II.

That's probably why it is seen as innapropriate. The asterisk system isn't in place until next week isn't it?

I honestly don't know about the system. But after a year or more you would think that this issue would have been brought up sooner.

Edit: And kamikaze really means "Divine Wind", I would have been glad to change my name but they didn't even give me an option or warning.

And habbo is stupid like that unfortunately.

Kamikaze is most definitely not an inappropriate word. I suggest you contact Habbo as suggested or PM Redtiz (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=72373) on this forum. She has been helping a lot of people out with name changes, bans and such recently.

There were Japanese pilots in World War II called 'Kamikaze Pilots' who would fly their planes carrying vast amounts of explosives into enemy ships. However as Pedo has said, kamikaze actually means divine wind and the Japanese don't appear to take offense to the term. I have seen them use it in comedy game shows and such without batting an eyelid.

Habbo are giving out so many bans lately, but they're also accepting 99/100 appeals.
So just go to help.habbo.com and follow the steps there to hopefully get your account back, because being banned for that is ridiculous, when I see people on Habbo with MUCH worse names still roaming rooms freely.

I don't even care if it were mildly offensive towards the aggressors. It's still an important part of world history, and just like the holocaust we're not going to filter it out of existence at every turn. As bliss as ignorance may be you can't just pretend like bad things never happened.
