y'know if yr downloading full albums, yr best off searching mp3 blogs.
just put in the title of the album you want on google followed by "mediafire", you'll most probably find a download link.

or torrents. i've kinda weened myself off torrents, but they're better than limewire.

torrents are pretty much obsolete for anything other than huge files. it's so much quicker to download from mediafire.

I use torrents to download small files all the time, it's super quick and easy.

@Renior, I'm not sure what the rules are these days with regards to posting links to dodgy stuff, so just do a bit of googling for 'LimeWire Pirate Edition'.

Torrents, is what I usually use as they are more easy to find.

Frostwire is beast. If you just want songs, use a youtube audio ripper.

Don't use torrents. Hate them. They slowed my computer down dramatically.

I personally use youtube converter. obviously that's not great for albums but for singles then it's great.

If Bearshare is still around, that's another software alternative to have a go at?

Limewire was crap anyway, I swear the only people that still used it were like 12 year olds.

You want to be where the proper files are: torrent sites. You download a program like uTorrent then use a site such as isohunt to download. You get to see reviews and detailed info so know what's in the download and if it's good sound quality etc.

So if you can't afford something you go to illegal means to obtain it?

Without turning this into a whole debate, I think people find it a lot more acceptable to take something that's not really physical... you can't get chased by a security guard for taking bits and bytes...

Not to endorse stealing music, but there's something entirely different about the feeling of taking it for free.

I'd use uTorrent and just get random torrents off the internet.

I suggest
Downloading off mediafire or downloading torrents from piratebay.org and downloading uTorrent.

Nice copying other posts..

Who said torrents are obsolete? Download utorrent, configure it (takes 2 mins) search on isohunt (catalogs torrents from several sites like tbp), check that the torrent has at least a few good comments or if it is tagged by axxo or someone like that make sure it has been verified as a legit axxo release, download it at very high speeds and enjoy.

I honestly don't see the point in applications like Limewire. Quite a lot of the files shared on these contain viruses. There is nothing stopping an advanced computer user from renaming a virus to something like Sims4.iso, and then when people get tricked they complain about having a virus when really it was their own fault.
