Shut up you silly tit.
Shut up you silly boob.

Quite different, don't you think? :P Really there is no need to say tit if you can just say boob.

but what about the phrase "it all went títs up", you can't say "it all went boobs up", that'd be weird.

Well I would personally just say "it's all gone pete tong" but I guess that's just me. :P Still, there are many other different phrases you can use. The fact is tit can be used as an insult (albeit a light one) and boob doesn't quite have the same effect, so I can see why it is filtered. The chances are if you just did what I am doing right now so that the filter doesn't recognise the fact that I same saying tit you would probably get away with it anyway. Of course you won't now because you've brought it to everyones attention!

I quoted you wondering why *** wasnt filtered then realised it was and you're a clever one you are. Also only you would say "its all gone pete tong" so thats no valid arguement. Also some other lighter offensiveness has been lifted off the filter with no worries since it is just the slightest bit offensive but no one really cares and its other uses are far greater.

Jin mentioned reviewing the filter in the thread about "dumbass". I will chase this up because there are quite a few words that aren't really offensive on the filter list that I don't personally have an issue with, t-it included.

Personally I think the forum should adopt a cockney rhyming slang filter so that when you swear or type some specific phrase it automatically changes it to the cockney version, for example...

Original: I have to buy a suit for my brothers wedding, right pain in the arse but his fiance showed me her tits the other day.

Filtered: Gotta buy a whistle and flute for me manhole covers Otis Redding, right pain in the hagen daas but his fiance showed me her Brad Pitts the other day.

Improved 100%.

Hang on a second though, I may be the only one who would say 'it's all gone pete tong' but I also said "there are many other different phrases you can use" so really it is a valid point because, well... there are. :P

Pah, be British you silly teets :P We shouldn't be saying tit, it's all about saying teets ;)

Also, is *** still filtered? Ho is the derogatory word which means prositute, the one currently filtered is the garden tool, which FlyingJesus pointed out a while ago. Obviously 'ho# can't be filtered, as it would ruin Christmas and Santa won't be pleased if he can't say "Ho ho ho" :P
