Do you have consideration in what you do in life?

A little thing brought this up. Due to me working shifts I find it hard to find time to do daily jobs. I've been wanting to dig a space out of the snow for my car for a while so that I don't have to park so far away. I spent from 10pm onwards last night digging my space and finally parked in it. Come home from college today to find that a big white van had parked in my space.

I have put snow in their locks and buried their tires. Was this over the top?

Still though, its not exactly something you do. It was also blocking my driveway. I'll get a pic of that now. x

Probably, just a little.
Although I can see how pissed off you'd be considering it would be quite obvious that someone had cleared that space for a reason :P

08-12-2010, 05:27 PM
that's just a poor thing to do... lol :/
they didnt do anything wrong - the parkng space isnt reserved, although parking over your drive is slight annoying, just ask them to move it. no need to go and (in a way) vandilise the van lol ... I'd expect a 6 y.o around here to do that:(

The fact you have to ask whether it was over the top suggests that it is.

I can't understand how its vandelising a van.. Its snow and water. It was pretty clearly a dug out space, there was snow at either end of it and it was perfectly clean.

It doesn't make it your space though, and yeah, it is because you're pissing around with something that's not yours. It might only be snow and water but you know how petty the country is.. :)

I'm just playing devil's advocate. ;)

all i'm thinking is the poor person who owns that van had no idea you'd dug that space, probably thought the council had cleared the road and now he's gonna be stuck.

it's aiight, one day you'll do something by accident and karma's a *****.

No, I feel that justice has been served. Really, the council? The council dig one space and dont clear the whole street? First i've seen.

Should have thrown some cold water over the snow as-well so it would freeze even more.

Even if people think its over the top its still funny, prob not for the guy who owns the van though but owell it isnt mine.

LOOL thats so funny ahaha love you for doing that

in your fairness he was parking right infront of your driveway but it probs was still a bit unreasonable but its hilarious so youre excused

08-12-2010, 07:04 PM
Yeh thats happened to me before. I can't say I reacted the same way as you did because I knew who the owner of the vehicle was so I went and knocked on his door and demanded that he moved it. It is frustrating when you put time and effort into digging a parking space then some little turd burgular nicks it!

Jessicrawrr
08-12-2010, 07:42 PM
they do in birmingham, j/s.

the ice down some streets in hull is proper thick because nobody did anything about snow, birmingham council must be nice.
and wooooooooo go you, it's the guys fault!

08-12-2010, 08:04 PM
umm yeah and you came to brag...why? you obviously know it is OTT & rude, probably ******** yourself over the consequences of your actions but feel the need to show people to make it slightly worth it.
if there's only one spare space, SOMEONE is going to take it. logic!
revenge is bitter, not sweet.

Thats not over the top, i know how you feel.
Me and my house mates done the same as you and next door who we DONT get on with parked in our spot which is outside our drive.
So me and my mate parked either side of him so he couldn't move for days, seeing as we weren't driving in this snow aha. : )

Andeeh
08-12-2010, 08:23 PM
Fair play to you mate, I would be just as ****** off as you

08-12-2010, 08:40 PM
I found that hilarious, but I'm the quiet type, I would have been watching like a Hawk until the Van was moved.

Scott, you do realise, you have done that, and he's digging out of it, so that means it takes longer for you to reclaim the spot?

What's snow in their locks going to do? They can just melt it easily enough.

Yes but they would probably melt it with their breath so it would look, shall we say, a bit funny if hes bending down blowing into the locks

Stephen

should of also buried a few nails in the snow infront/behind his tires as a backup

Love it. I hate it when people take things which I consider to be mine which actually aren't. Rep+

scott
09-12-2010, 04:45 PM
bit pathetic actually if i'm honest lol so what if you cleared it? he clearly wasn't parked there for very long let me guess he was probably out making a living working and he's had to spend an hour of his time to clear a van because some pathetic person decided that a space on the road was theirs before you'd park behind it at least till it went? lol nice one

think if you went somewere and seen a clear space but knew you wouldn't be long then you would park in it. you would be extremely pissed off if someone done it to you

Jake
09-12-2010, 05:02 PM
Ott by far, Id park in a space that was cleared if there was nowhere else? and if it was the other way round im sure you would,

You didnt bury their wheels very good though it looks like uve just covered up the sides of them looool

It's not like you're going to do anything if they leave their name anyway. Do you want them to leave their address too?

I hope he just gets in and casually drives away without even noticing anything...

Seriously, some vans are often alright in snow/ice because they are designed to drive around muddy working sites.

Jordy
10-12-2010, 11:57 PM
Also the fact you have enough time to decorate his van in snow and take photos of it suggests you have enough time on your hands to clear the snow once again when he'd moved.
