Eastenders Advertising Corrie?

Well I was watching tonights Eastenders when I heard Dot saying "I'm going to have some marshmallows and watch Corries on TV" Did anyone else hear this? I am surprised this was said because they are both on different channels and they have been 'rivals' for quite some time.

yh it was a mark of respect sort of thing, i heard it and mentioned it to my parents after she said it, i liked the bit where i think it was stacey or kat who said she does not like it, haha

I think they're more neutral now, they did the child in need thing.

Oh and don't forget on Eastenders 25th, Corrie did a little scene of all the actors saying happy birthday. (Although this was aired on BBC1)

I've always wondered if the different people in these soaps ever think ''ohh I've got to get home to watch Emmerdale'' or what ever lol. But yeh, was a little surprised about it but was kind of obvious as to why they did it. :)
