Anyone have one? Like a palette thing with tooth/teeth on that are basically false teeth?
I have to go for one next week, I just wondered if they irritate or whatever. My Mum has one and shes used to hers so I just wanted to know.

Do you mean 'false' teeth? My nan had new ones recently and they do need some adjusting but she soon gets used to them.

Well yeah false teeth. I think the dentist and my Mum makes it sound more minor with 'plate' as I'm only 16.
Btw, my teeth aren't bad because of me, my Mum's is exactly same place, and also I have brittle something.

So not a full set - just a few? If so I would not think it will take long to get used to them. :)

I used to have to wear a retainer that had a plate and it's really difficult at first because basically the plate is on the roof of your mouth and you can't eat or taste as well. You'll get used to it though.

I haven't ever had one. However I would think they would take a bit of time getting use to. I use to have a removable brace and it was quite uncomfortable at the start.
