At first I thought it was legit but obviously it's not xD! Haven't replied to it or clicked any links so it's all good. Just beware. They use habbo images & everything. It seems really real.
They sent using:
[email protected]
Edited by Catzsy (Forum Super Moderator): Please do not post links that could compromise the safety of other members.
Thanks for the heads up on this

Haven't seen a good one like that for a while. I love when they HTML it and send it from Habbo.com. The writing gave it away LOST YOUR PASSWORD? It's fine like they already knew you did. They should of played it cool and directed you to another site. If they had a brain. Not that I'm promoting scamming or anything as I be clear, if you scam in real life or on habbo your scum.

You cant even trust emails from
[email protected]. I can send emails from that address if I wanted too! With all the HTML. There's programs to do everything these days.
To prevent this from happening to anyone:
A) Habbo NEVER ask for your password, or anything to do with your account, unless your trying to recover it. But they still won't ask for a pass
B) Habbo NEVER send emails unless you send them one, or unless it's promoting/someone added you as a friend e.t.c.

As it states on the habbo way ...
Habbo and your password
You should only enter your password on the official Habbo website in order to log in to your account. Habbo staff will never contact you personally asking for your password.
You should know the Habbo Way if you play Habbo hotel, when you agree to the terms and conditions you obide to the Habbo way and should know it.

The "something has gone wrong so we need your password" scam is sooooo old! Why don't they think of a new one? Anyway a bit more on topic, quite a good e-mail scam, I mean the way it looks and stuff, but the text isn't very convincing!

this is pathetic. I feel seriously sorry, for the people who fell for this, luckily they haven't contacted me with crap like this.

I never reply to ANY habbo emails really cos I just ignore my inbox even on my iPod cos if anyone wants to contact me, they do it through FaceBook now email.
If anybody falls for that, they shouldn't be using a computer. The only people who will fall for it are those who won't even have any furni, so it's a bit pointless of scamming lol.
The thing you should be questioning is how they got your email address? Usually it's because you signed up to some insecure fansite. I always use my HabbCrazy email to sign up to fansites and I sometimes get "Habbo" emails and my Habbo account ain't even linked to it haha.

[email protected] must be a legitimate email address because I've received that email & the rose on multiple emails BUT that email could have been altered and sent by another source.
Also, I don't know why people are bringing up emails that ask for your password (unless they are speaking in general)? The OP's email didn't ask for a password.
Callum.

Can you still check the headers and see where it was actually sent from?
