Problemo: Im Shy

Hey guys, havent been around for a while. Be and this girl talk alot on MSN, and we are really good friends. But (As stated in the thread title), im too shy to ask her out. I know I should, because if I don't then I will never find out if she loves me back, but im too afraid because I might scare her. Yeah, I know this sounds really stupid :L Anyone got any advice?

Ah my mate used to have this thing with a girl on msn but when it came to irl they were to shy around eachother. In the end he moved on and found another girl. If I was in your position just ask if she wants to meet up in the holidays, if you hang around with same people then go with them. If not just go together like shopping or something then take it one step at a time mate

Okay now I know this is r/l it's easier to give advice :P

Basically...get to know her more (just hang out with her, talk to her, ask to meet up with her at a park or w/e) and then when you feel you're ready ask her...but I'd strongly suggest to meet up with her in real life more first. Otherwise if it just comes out of the blue she'll be shocked.

they said that (and i kinda thought it) because of how you instantly refer to msn and there is no details of irl encountering :P

also dont say "love" to her, she'll be pretty freaked if you say you love her in a sort of "i fancy you" sorta way, not a friendly kinda way.

Just observe how she acts around you IRL and if she drops hints, anything to see if she likes you. You can drop hints too..

Usually girls will make it pretty clear if they like you or not. :P

Suggest you do something like go to see a movie together (horribly cliche..) or preferably something more exciting than that like ice skating if you have that kind of thing near you, I know I don't. If she says no then she isn't interested. If she says yes then it's a green light. Just got to observe how she behaves around you from that point and it should get a lot easier.
