What are your thoughts about them?

I've never been part of an army but i've nothing against them as it is people having fun and if they want to be in a gang then go for it :D

I've been a member/ owned a few. It really depends on the people who run it wheter or not you'll enjoy it.

Some are fantastic and have many great rooms.

What do they do though, that's what I don't understand? It seems like a lot of sitting around doing nothing.

Also, do many actually pay? And how do the owners make money from it?

I believe they make money from selling rights and some also make money from donations and people giving furni to get promoted.

Also I've been part of them and yes it's all just sitting around and doing nothing apart from the occasional raid where you go to another army and most the time just get kicked, lol! Personally I think all Armies/Police/Gangs on habbo are rubbish, vampire/werewolf RP is better!

I used to start off Habbo in armies and such.
I met a lot of people who were quite friendly and such (Still keep in contact).. I'd say they're fun and enjoyable but sometimes get too boring if you're doing the same thing. I actually used to own one when I start and then ended up giving out my password because I was a noob.

Anyways, it's good to socialise. Bad to do it all the time.

Can't read whatever someone wrote up there about BDA cause the word got removed. I can guess it wasn't nice though haha.

To be honest, I just enjoy being part of an army.
Cause there's always someone you know on habbo, or like, a group of people you know.
BDA has a habbo radio site attached to it, so we get people from that site coming in and stuff.
Basically you get 2 credits a week for sitting around talking, and occasionally telling people what to do ;)

Personally I find them quite boring but whatever interests you personally. The closest thing I've ever done is I used to own a police station, back in like 2005 :L
