View Full Version : [Bobba] Permed. Any help?
You have been banned! The reason for the ban is "Unauthorised access to accounts and taking furni and or credits : Permanent (id: 1653201)". The ban will expire at 5/20/22 12:42 AM Eastern Time.
The only thing I can think of this relating to is when i was temporarily banned i switched accounts, and then when i was unbanned i got all the furni from my other account, perhaps leading habbo to think I was accessing the other account unfairly and stealing the stuff.
Anyone know the best approach to appealing?
e-mailing them will probably be the best thing and just explain you were transferring furni from one account of yours to another account of yours
Scratch what I said, I know what it is now -.-
Someone on my friends list, who I vaguely know, said they were having a giveaway,
I stalked him and when I got there he was just giving away all his furni,
little did I know he'd been hacked by another of my 'friends', so by accepting the furni, I've taken part in the illicit activity.

Oh that does explain it then :P
I'd still e-mail them and explain that your friends account was hacked and you didnt know about it

Mods are basically stone hearted , Contact redtiz on the forum itself. She's really nice and will unban you.

Agree with the above, if you have actually been unfairly banned than a nice PM to redtiz on this forum could be fruitful. Just explain to her what happened and what you should do next.
Thank you all for the replies,
I gave redtiz a message and hopefully this can be resolved soon!
Luckily christmas is coming up so I won't be on that much anyway (:

Ahem. Now here's a hypothetical situation:
Bill: Hello John, what's up?
Peter: That's not John, it's Shaun on his account
Bill: You've hacked his account?
John: Haha
Bill: Keylogger, dicerigger?
Peter: Can I have some of his molten lava patches?
John: No, I've given them all away already
Rob: give me some of his stuff will you?
John: Hang on, I'm still trading stuff away
Now - hypothetically speaking. If you were any of those people, would you say that you knew John was hacked or you didn't know John was hacked?
[Sorry, no prizes for getting this one right...]
Forgot the habbo police were so thorough these days,
the fact I knew he'd been hacked is irrelevant to the reason I was banned,
I only found out he'd been hacked when I got there, so I had no participation in the actual hacking and stealing of the furni, which voids both reasons for me being banned.

You hear that your friend is doing a giveaway. You rock up to that room and see immediately that your friend's account is hacked.
Now at this point would a true friend:
a) Report that account stolen
or
b) Ask the hacker for some of the items on that account
You chose b).... our survey says.... NU UH
In the real world, receipt of stolen goods is also a crime. I hope this thread stands as a lesson to:
a) Not try and pull the wool over my eyes; and
b) Not tell porkie pies to a fansite community because you may well get busted and then perhaps people won't be quite so happy to be your friend.
Merry Christmas!

I never mentioned he was a true friend, I didn't even like the kid, he was just on my friends list at the time,
I don't have true friends on habbo lol.
But yeah, what's done is done, hopefully people won't make the same mistake I did.

haha. u minus well start over. you got caught. you knew it was a hacked account. By him giving the stuff to people and you accepting, after knowing it was stolen, is a form of hacking. For all they know, you could of been the hacker and had a side account. I know this stinks, but start from scratch and learn from mistakes.

Habbo won't perm everyone that took furniture for a giveaway, that's like getting arrested for easting in a resturant when they have rats.

It's not a form of hacking...
But possession of stolen goods is illegal, so habbo have incorporated it into their game, so fair play to them I guess.
I won't be starting again, the amount of times I've done that is ridiculous now, and I'm 17, just entered a new year, so perhaps this is the kick in the butt I needed to quit this game.

They will if the person knew it was hacked furniture,
and your analogy has absolutely nothing to do with habbo or hacking...
