Gift bags or wrapping?

Well this year we seem to have loads of gift bags and maybe 5 or 6 wrapped in wrapping paper. I love how lazy we all are in this day and age! :)

So, just out of interest.. did you put your presents in gift bags or wrapping paper this year... and did you recieve more of one than the other? :P

Bit of both tbh, mostly wrapping though. It depends on what present it is and who it's going to though, like alcohol we'll put in a bag but DVDs and other "physical" presents we wrap up.

Some things are so awkwrd to wrap tho - like giant flowerpots. it's like THIS DOES NOT WRAP OK? So i just gave up and tied a ribbon round it.

Aha I know. My boyfriend made me wrap some of his presents because they were a really awkward shape and I was getting seriously annoyed because the only way to wrap the end bits was to wrap them messily, and I didn't wanna wrap them messily :(

I hate wrapping bottles too, gift bags for bottles. I only tend to use gift bags though if there's loads of presents. Otherwise I'll normally just wrap them.

I experienced wrapping for the first time ever tonight because I'd always have my mum on hand and she always bought the presents for me to give out. It's all changing now. Think it's safe to say I'll be using gift bags next year, nothing cheap and tacky looking though, they'll be presented with ribbons and bows and they'll look better than measly old wrapping paper!
