So I got the play station I hoped to get, and set it all up.

- Speakers are working fine (thanks for the help Tom!)
- PS3 is working

- You require a system update.

That's fine. But since so many people are (well I assume) trying to install it, the update won't actually install. So I can't set up PSN, I can't play any games.

Oh the joys haha :P

We get an update usually every month or so, price of it being free, I can take it.

The wheel is more expensive though isn't it?

Must be annoying seeing the wheel with no game though haha

I have an account, I just can't log in until I update :P

Yeah it's fine with me to take it, just wish I didn't have to now :P

Being a genius, I realised you could update it via a removable storage device. So I went on to sony's website and found the update - and it is working fine :)

Keep getting a 'DLNA Error' when trying to install a 38mb update for Fifa 11.

Not sure what is going wrong :S

---------- Post added 25-12-2010 at 09:56 PM ----------

That IS strange.

Tried it fifteen times - highest it got was 10%.

While posting this, just checked again and it has got to 35 already :S

get a faster internet?

Because fast internet stops things interfering?

How the **** do you expect me to get faster internet? Install fiber optic myself?

I dont know if youre on the most expensive plan, do i? and the interfering could be your laptop taking up all the bandwith.

Not too sure I know what I'm talking about but you could have a IP conflict, check that the ps3 is using a diffrent IP from your computer.

You don't know me very well lol.

I am on the best plan I can be on. It interferes when I am doing NOTHING on my pc (got msn open and stuff).

That's nothing, if I have a system update on my ps3 I have to take it over someone elses house because my download speed is chronic. I have to leave it all night if it's at mine to install.
