I have never heard of it and my friends in college the other week were on about buying some stuff from play.com. So I've gone on it, and it does have load of stuff I want... and it's free delivery. But I'm not sure if it's trusted, new stuff, etc...?

It's very trusted, and well known.

My Mum uses them quite often and from what I can tell they're sort of like Amazon, I can say that they can probably be trusted since they're well known.

Okay, thank you :) I had to make sure just encase it was some scamming website as I haven't seen them before, (I hardly shop in shops, mind online). :)

Nah its completely safe, only thing is that sometimes delivery can take a lot longer than it should.
Twice ive been promised goods delivered in 3-5 days and once it took 2 weeks, and the other time 3 weeks.

I have also had something delivered in 2 days, im just saying the delivery time can be very unpredictable!

4/5 times though its on time and i would recommend them

I usually get my orders next day if I order in the morning, or in 2 days in the afternoon.

My Dad used them to get some Christmas presents for me, and everything arrived without problem. I would recommend them.

We ordered something around the 9th December and they didn't arrive until about the 21st - but it's Christmas so it's expected. No problems at all with Play.com, brilliant company :)

59/60 buys have been on time or early (operation flashpoint was a week late, but its crap anyway so it was a relief)

Yeah this has happened with me a few times. Delivery can be slightly longer but then again, on some of my pre-orders its been spot on.

Excellent website. Although Id prefer it if they had an option to pay for faster postage, other than that, excellent :)

Play is a great site, I'm surprised you've never heard of it. Its not like amazon as your buying straight from the company not through a 3rd party. (unless you use PlayTrader)
I have to agree with people here about the postage most of the time its perfect but now and then you'll get something weeks late.

Used it quite a few times and never had any problems, it's a really good site.

The only issue I had was a book I ordered was a week late but that was due to the weather so yeah.

play.com are safe and they e-mail you telling you about your items, e.g being dispatched etc (usually takes 3-5 working days for stuff to come)

they are a very good safe website, so go get some stuff :D

i agree with what you are saying ... but the more people who talk about a website shows that lots of people know they are a reliable site

Its the second largest uk online retailer, he/she just has to do a single google search to see.

Their delivery time can take a while and Amazon are always cheaper. So you're better off using Amazon.

I tend to use both play & amazon as most of the time the prices are slightly different... some dvd's i was going to get - some were cheaper on play & some were cheaper on amazon... so they are not always cheaper... i think it depends what you are buying really

I'm fascinated you've never heard of it before! They had a huge advertising campaign that went on throughout the year, with offline advertising (posters etc.) and TV advertising. It's one of the most popular online stores in the UK :) I tend to use Amazon.co.uk and Play.com along side each other, Amazon may sell things for more than Play.com and vice versa. They're about as good as each other :)

Its great. Me and others in the family have got games and dvd's for presents at half their price in many cases.

If its play trader it will be others selling it but most I believe are sold by play.com themselves so you know it will be in tip top condition.

Only downside is no paypal support
