im no tech god, but im assuming the model also effects how the machine runs, as well as the processing speed.

GHz isnt everything in a processor. Its about the L1/L2/L3 Cache too, I mean you can get i3/i5/i7's that are 1.7GHz and will perform better than a 3.0GHz Pentium Duo.

I think its a decent budget system

It's ok. Similar to what it would cost to custom build.

These modern Pentiums are based on the Core microarchitecture, not Netburst like I think the guy above is assuming.

Hey There,

I Honestly think you can get a better PC for that money, *online
The Monitor is Great tho

The 3.00ghz processor aint so great , I would be looking for an Intel Dual Core 3.0ghz CPU
But overall its a nice PC - Not for gaming tho lol.

I think he was referencing Calum's use of the word 'brought' instead of 'bought' in the title.
