[+REP] XBOX VGA CABLE [SOUND]

Hiya,

My official XBOX HD VGA cable has just arrived and I've set it up for my monitor correctly and the video is working all fine. The only problem is, my monitor has no speakers and I can't plug it into the speakers as I only have a headphone port. Is there some way I could use my computer to filter the sound through?

Plug it into the blue line in jack on your PC, then right click the Speaker in the bottom right of your screen > Click Recording Devices > Right click Line In > Properties > Listen > Tick 'Listen to this Device'.

Ahh...

I've managed to fix it. I just plugged it in the back, and activated Line In. I've got brilliant sound now.

I bought a VGA cable a week or so ago, connected it up to my 23" monitor.
I am absolutely loving it at the moment.

For sound, I have:
Logitech X230s
Logitech Z506s

So currently have a 7.2 speaker system at the moment.
The 230s provide a bass depth while the Z506s create the surround sound.

Love it with the XBOX 360, especially when playing war games.
