Was gutted that I wasn't able to catch last year's series on TV, but I received a surprise review copy of the DVD set a couple of weeks before the season ended. I hope that's the case again this year.

Shameless is really good but sometimes I don't know why I watch it because it can be really pointless at times. Maybe I don't feel like there's a structure in it.

Well, I haven't missed an episode since it began :P It was fantastic this week, Tuesdays @ 10PM is the new time on Channel 4 for the remainder of the series. Thing its something like 17 episodes left, so 17 weeks of Shameless! :D

Misawa

We get it Misawa. Not trying to be rude or anything, but can you stop rubbing the fact you get things before us "common folk"? Thanks.

Anyway, loved the first week. Raging it's back to once a week.

Just watched Libby's exit on episode 13.

Ye a friend of mine told me she saw it in the paper saying she was leaving because she couldn't be bothered to travel to the set and back to do the filming...

---

What do you reckon then... Frank to get back with Monica ... ?

PS. The series ends at episode 13 and then will continue in the autumn from episode 14-22. You guys are currently on episode 8 (tonight's). Filming is taking place right now on episodes 14-22.

The first four were realistic and by far the best in my opinion.

Series' six-eight have been far more unrealistic - though still thoroughly entertaining and indeed watchable

This is something I am asking myself. I guess that the people behind the show are thinking that eventually other families will be able to "take over" the main family role in order to keep the show going.

This is actually true as I did read this somewhere.

I read this in The Sun, at the same time when they reported Libby's departure.

I would love for them to fight like hell to bring a fan favourite or two back. With Libby leaving, maybe they could bring Sheila back for Frank? As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Me and a hell of a lot of my mates all want Kev and Veronica back. You cannot deny how awesome they were! I'm pretty sure Fiona and Steve are out of the question due them being huge stars now and they simply wouldn't be able to afford them. Lip? I'm not too bothered about him; nor am I that bothered about Ian. Debbie, yes.

Who would you like to see brought back, realistically?

Misawa
03-02-2011, 06:48 PM
I'd like to see Ian and Sheila back. Sheila was hilarious, and her "I've been shot!" scene from the first series is one of my all-time favourite moments.

Slowpoke
03-02-2011, 06:56 PM
Ian has annoyed me in recent series

It was fantastic, Sheila running round in her slippers squeeling with eggs dripping down her face and sex toys all over the street :P Series two, however :P

Nuxty

Sheila and the twins would be excellent to return! I would love to see Kev and Veronica back but for me I guess my ultimate returnee would have to be Marty! :P

Well, I just hope a few of the old characters come back! I do think that the Maguires are kind of the more "central" family now. :(
