Habbo is working on a new project called ''Project Snake''. It should be something like habbo x / hobba.
To become a snake your habbo has to be at least 2 years old.

That's what the dutch ex hobba and ex-x Denneappel said.
It is a rumor he could me lieing.

Habbos were complaining about the stopped habbo guides project. Habbo.nl community manager jet said sulake was working on it.

Sounds like a porn film tbh,

can't really see much reason as to why they'd bring back HabboX's

Hobbas were good because you had to be 18+ to be one so they didn't really let immature, big headed, egotistic morons in like they did with the Habbo X programme.
I do think they were useful, much more useful than what they have now. I remember when I was new, you could walk into the Welcome Lounge and there'd be some Habbo X's in there, ready to help out. Right now though.. we have an annoying, automated bot that doesn't have a clue what you're saying and some FAQs that are stupidly difficult to navigate?

Two years? There are so many people who will meet that criteria.

All my 300 clones meet that criteria. :)

I do remember with the Habbo X system, you had to have done at least 200 log in's too; which looking back, it was extremely lenient!

200 logins, that's not even a year tbh.

You can be a 2 year old Habbo and know nothing about Habbo.

Should be 5 year.

Hum, do you really think they would spend the time and money (on the staff who manage it) to do this?

Unless most of the CFHs are things that Habbo Xs could deal with, meaning they could cut down on moderators (again) and have people working for them for free?

You can be a 2 year old Habbo and know nothing about Habbo.

Should be 5 year.
Would be better than help off the mods ^_^

I think there is no need but I wish there were online staff that could resolve bugs because there is a BIG trading bug in my game rooms that means when you trade once it doesn't let you trade again and the host has to trade, or you have to reload for it to work or sometimes the box shows the previous trade :l

When you said Snake, I thought you meant they were making that into a game, that would be cool.

I don't think it'll be a system like HabboX (and certainly not a Hobba). There will be heaps of people who qualify so I think it'll just be another system where everyone gets it. (Habbo Guides)

They won't go back to volunteer moderating because I remember around the time Kazopark was being advertised here, Redtiz said something about volunteer moderators being frowned upon and that they'd never do that again.

I think that the 2 years should be doubled to four, and that there should be a certain amount of online time made a requirement.

Also they should have proper interviews for them once the initial applications are sorted through.

Hey guys. I am new to the forum, so here is a big hello. I missed Habbo X's the first time round, but I can get the idea. And they would undoubtedly be a better replacement than those terrible guidebots. I asked one of them 'where can I report someone for scamming me?'. The reply I got was; 'Scamming is against the Habbo Way. To read more about the Habbo Way, click the help button. Do not scam, raid, swear or disrespect other memebers. Why not ask me about creating an event where you can meet many other members'. Thanks, Guidebot. Thank you so much.

Its a shame really, that they ended the Habbo eXpert scheme.

It'd be so much better, to make it four years before you can join this 'new scheme' as quite frankly - the older the user the more reliable they usually can be. There is users who are around from 2004/5 still, myself included. It could prove to be a really successful scheme, however I really doubt that this will actually happen as they seem to be focused on allowing practically everybody, and anyone take part in these initatives.

I see redtiz was active on the forum today, it would be very interesting if she responded to this thread :)

I really doubt she'll confirm or even comment on anything considering this is actually against the fansite way.

Nothing to be proud of.

If it is anything like the Habbo Guide crap it will be a dreadful thing anyway.

Also, since when has experience meant being the best (according to a lot of people in this thread). So many people who have played for a long time are just stupid (probably because they have played for so long, instead of doing work)

Experience doesn't mean being the best. But being experienced (being here for longer) will usually have more users who know more and then be able to help more.

More than likely the experienced ones are the best for the job, however i agree there are the occasional dopes around.

If this ''new habboX'' thing is brought out in the correct way it could be a great thing.

You both forget that you don't need to know the history of habbo to understand the game. If you have played for a few months, you will know how everything works.

Name one question a new player might ask, that the chances are a one year old player will not be able to answer (compared to a play who has played for four years)..

This doesn't surprise me really. Something has got to fill that void that Sulake currently have, with the responses users get from Moderators (very poor ones may I add) they need people who are knowledgeable to help. That saying, they have managed just fine since the removal of guides & eXperts.

Really? I've never seen Habbo's player support to be as bad as it is right now. Hence why redtiz is practically a Goddess because she actually interacts with people one on one.

Oh and just because people qualify for the scheme doesn't mean they're guaranteed the role. The Habbo X scheme worked just the same as a Habbox job - thousands of people send in an application and then a few are handpicked for a trial.

Off topic: Nice spelling of rumour

On topic: I don't think this will be successful as there will be loads of people who have been on Habbo for ages and think they're "experienced" but they're just the egotistical people who think that VIPs and HCs are better than norms..

Off topic: The user who posted it is from a different country (the Netherlands is it?), and I believe 'rumor' may be correct in many English speakin countries?

I don't believe this will be truly successful - many people will do it - so in a way it will be successful. But I reckon most people who do it will be crap.

Project Snake? Silly name for it, but it would be a way to get that step between the users and habbo staff back.

Milestone, u can call me stupid, but a habbo being online on habbo every day for a couple of hours should earn it above someone entering random. He/she will be more present in the game as theyre used to enter every day. A random person is there just for a while.

I think this would be interesting but I don't know if it'd work or not. Thing is the reason they scrapped the programme was due to them feeling it wasn't working so it seems slightly pointless if they're adding a similar scheme which could go down the same root as the X programme.

I don't think they allowed the Habbo Guides programme to launch and I think that could've been a success with more attention and effort put into it from staff.

So, Hobbas, Habbo X's, Habbo Guides and now the possibility of another new scheme, sounds good but will it work?

No need to stress, we don't even know if this is a legitimate project. :)
