just because you're "not dj material" doesn't mean you can't stay on habboxforum and enjoy it.

Anyway if you decide to go, bye.

Agreed, there are other departments much better than HxL including www.habbox.com/events also, checking what job openings are open by going to www.habbox.com/jobs

Well ever since i started here i wanted to become a dj Then now a year later i decided to download SAM even tho im not aloud and risk eternal grounding, and then i finally build up the courage to apply and get rejected and get called Not dj material

---------- Post added 06-01-2011 at 08:21 PM ----------

No but the news i had today was quite shocking, i have feelings aswell, im only 13 and i was nearly crying(dont diss me)

Inseriousity.

If you got SAM and risk eternal grounding, surely if you became a DJ, you'd get found out!

There's more than Habbox than becoming staff tbh and "not being DJ material" now may not mean you won't be in the future. Stick around :)

I kinda lied about the 'Eternal grounding part' i would not get in trouble but im abit weary about downloading stuff cause the last 2 things i downloaded brought a virus into my comp, someone hacked my mums cred card and i risked that just to Fulfill my dream if you know what i mean

---------- Post added 06-01-2011 at 08:28 PM ----------

If i get Enough 'Dont Leaves' i might reconsider leaving cause i might understand that some people care about other peoples feelings like some people NOT NAMING NAMES

---------- Post added 06-01-2011 at 08:31 PM ----------

And off the subject I'm getting bullied for this ( i know its off-subject)

It shouldn't matter what others think of you, if you really want to be a DJ then stick at it and keep trying :)

Samantha.

Just because you got turned down there is no reason why you can't try again, not everyone becomes a DJ when they first apply. If you want to DJ so much may be get some experience and then you may have a better chance. Like others have said there are plenty of other jobs at Habbox that you can be involved in or you can just stick around the forum.

Ask Shockwave.2cc how many times he's applied. Must be nearly 20 now...

Anyway, was speaking to you on Habbo. Don't leave. kfnx.

You might not be DJ material now but you shouldn't take it as an insult, just practice practice practice. Most people get turned down their first time anyway. Like someone else said theres nothing to suggest you won't be DJ material in the future.

P.S If you downloaded SAM Broadcaster that means you got it illegaly.

Sorry for the double post, but I'll state my key point in a nice way.

What I was meaning by age is that people do not want to listen to high pitched kids screaming down the mic.

You shouldn't get round up by being relected. I've been joined over 5 years now, applied to be a MOD twice, both times beign told i was "next on the list" but noone ever got back to me "Cough" Oli "Cough" haha XD.

You just live your life and get on with it, i just come on to chat now.

No wonder you didn't get accepted. you've shown that your immature and post a thread throwing a tantrum because you didn't get accepted. I've applied to be a mod like 5 times and have never once been accepted, I just accept the fact that there were better applicants than me and try again the next time. where as now you have probably ruined your chances of getting it next time as well as you've made this thread showing your immature side and I doubt habbox would want staff who act like this. You need to accept the fact that there are better people out there than you and just try again in the future rather than make a leaving thread about it which has lowered your chances now. You need to accept criticism better...

Listen, being a DJ is a lot harder than people make it out to be. You have to be well organised, open minded but most of all confident. I realise being rejected may have crushed your confidence slightly but you have to take these things into consideration:
- Habbox is possibly the most popular Habbo fansite so they need dedicated, highly skilled staff.
- Because Habbox is so popular they would be getting a lot of applications; many of those people would have much more experience than you and thats what and RM would look for first.
Maybe you could try applying at a less popular site and gaining some experience before apply for Habbox? I spent nearly a year DJing for other sites before I thought I was good enough to apply here. I also worked on events teams to improve my team skills.
But it is entirely your decision.
I don't think you should leave, and yes this thread does make you sound kinda immature.
But have faith in yourself. (:

You should learn and better yourself from your mistakes.

Well I would practise your DJ skills and try again later in the year. It's no reason to leave Haboox Forum and as others say lool at the otehr jobs for now. Good luck. :)

Maybe you're not "DJ material" but maybe you're good at something else.

I think rejection is a positive thing because it gives you time to get better at what you need. Don't ever give up because if you keep at it you will eventually get the job maybe apply for some other sites that aren't as big as Habbox so you have some experience ?

If rejected this is a time to work on your dj skils. If you work on your skills you will get better and when dj applications open again next time you will show them what you have up your sleeve and blow them away and just wow everyone.

Well as tons of others have said it'd probably be a good idea to get experience if you want to become a DJ, keep on practising and spend a little more time on your app and I'm sure you'll eventually get there. I think I remember Gemma telling me that HxL did have a lot of good applicants that time, so try again whenever apps next open and give it another go :).

I think your taking this a bit too seriously - but who ever said your not 'DJ Material' is actually quite harsh, and just reading from and application I dont think its right. There is other departments on Habbox anyway, and if your not too keen on any of them, why not DJ on another fansite. But come back to Habbox because I'm sure you would of improved if you did :)

Tom

Just because your not 'DJ Material' as someone's probably said, doesn't mean you don't fit into any other job? Why leave HabboxForum?

Anyway if you do decide to go, au revoir.

Aw man , Being a DJ ain't all it seems, I Remembered i applied for DJ on habbox last year and i didn't get accepted, I gained experience and well was asked to apply again and did and passed. I say you should do the same, It's hard work man but if you work for what you want and believe in yourself I'm sure you could be a habbox DJ some day :)

Honestly, i have been a dj. Its not that much fun. Also, try starting off at a smaller dj station, I think you need some slight experiance to be a DJ at Habbox. Also, i have been told much worse, so no panicking ok? Just dust off your shoulders and try again.

{the dj station i did end up working for told me i dj'ed too much and i should take a break, so i just stopped dj'ing and the place went dead within a week, rofl silly people should of not told me to stop!}

Why is everyone convincing him to stay? He obviously only cared about the position (despite actually not needing to come on the forum for it) so leave him to it.

i would agree with some of the other people who said that you should start of small (with smaller sites) and work your way up... Habbox puts very much pressure on their DJ's and not making mistakes is quite critical... Even so like was said before just because you got rejected once and someone was plain enough to say that it doesn't mean you should leave the community... I speak from experience when i say that usually DJ's do not get accepted the first time they apply for Habbox... i, myself, have been applying for the last one and a half years, even before the merge happened, and it's not as easy as you might think... At the end of they day don't put yourself down just because you got rejected... get some experience and wisdom on the area of DJing and try again in the future, in the end it's all up to you :)
