Unfortunatly not, it was always risky doing it that way anyway. I find it ridiculous that they charge 800ms points just for a name change, should be more like 200.

But if it was 200, it would be done more frequently and by more people which would put more load on the server.

You can only get 800 MSP packs in america/canada, and im pretty sure they only work with american and canadien accounts.
