Driving test >:(

Well, I've got my first test this friday!, i really want to pass as i've spent lots of money on the ordeal already i need tips people!! help.

get a close friend to take you out on a ride and show you everything you need to know. maybe what you already know too, but it's just encase xD

just try and stay calm. obviously easier said than done though. when i had my test i was nervous as **** and it 1000% showed, but i tried to get it into my head that it wasn't a driving test, but rather another driving lesson with my instructor which did calm my nerves a bit.

It's probably not that bad! Just keep a level head, it's only driving. You're going to drive for the rest of your life :)

Just stay calm and composed. Keep your concentration at all times and do everything your test examiner says.

(I've not done my test yet but this is what I'll stand by)

Like everyone has said stay calm! When I sat my test the examiner said something to me which helped me - don't look at him marking things off on his test sheet and don't let your self think that after you've made a mistake that you have failed the test because quite a lot of the time you've not!

Yeah staying composed is hard when it comes to driving tests. Try not to think of consequences or plan anything in your head and just do it, there is no consequences if your positive! There's not much I know from personal experience about overcoming nerves but all I know is I like to just charge at it and get it over and done with.

First thing to remember is not to give up! Even if you do something stupid and you think you've failed, just keep going for it. Hell, i mounted the curve a bit and I still passed (somehow ;) ) Just try and be as calm as you can, perhaps open a window to keep cool ,and just go for it.

once you're actually in the car a lot of the nerves go. i was lucky that the examiner was chatting to me all the way through so that made it more friendly than say having a strict examiner who sits there and stares at you

I passed today, only got 5 minors. My examiner was cool, talked about football the whole way through. So happy.
