How much does it cost for the Virgin Media internet alone?

I think we pay £6.99 for Sky Internet and this is pretty awesome. Is yours reliable?

£35/mo. It's very reliable, with the odd glitch here and there (once, maybe twice a month).

It's for all cable customers not just 50Mb and it's about time. Virgin have always offered a horrible upload to download speed ratio. 10:1 is about what it should be imo.

Mine's coming in May (20Mb package).

My only issue with virgin media is the useless monkeys that work in their call centres. They've screwed up my bill so many times and their tech support literally don't have a clue.

Only downside with going on Virgin's cable television is inferior compared to Sky.

i pay £19 and i get phone aswell.

it teeters around the 14 - 14.5 mark all the time but a very reliable ~35 ms ping

i've wanted to go to virgin but we dont get direct fibre and £35 is too much for a phone per month nevermind internet

Whilst you all moaned, I'm still sitting here with a 1.3mbps download speed and 0.49mbps upload. :( I wish they would actually fish out fibre optics, or a general good connection, to my area.

I should have the increase around now but speed test never works proper for me and tells me I have some crazy speed like 133MB or something silly like that.

That's not my actual connection speed though, I'm on the upto 20MB and it speedtest always makes out it's something much greater. :P

I was joking :P

Virgin's Jargon Buster is awesome:

ADSL 2 - Remember Police Academy 2? Rubbish, wasn’t it.

Apart from some notable exceptions, like Terminator 2 for example, films normally get worse with sequels.

But with ADSL that’s not the case. ADSL2 works in the same way as plain old ADSL, it’s just faster (but still not as good as our fibre optic network, just so you know).
