So what everyone's current project? (What are you making, aiming for etc)

I'm finishing off my town, and started work on another for Josh.
Hopefully going to be creating a working subway soon, got the station ready with a couple of features but need to sort out a proper cart dispenser only got the one usable cart atm.

Can't you use the new dispenser block (hehehe (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Dispenser)) to dispense minecarts ?

And i don't know mine if i'm honest, probably to learn how to use redstone properly so I can do some pretty decent stuff :L

and I'm planning on making a bakery. Along with a little factory where I stock up on the ingredients and a farm for growing the wheat for stephen's famous minecraft pork rolls!

Yeah, play around with redstone; you can make some awesome stuff.

Hopefully he'll change that for some items. minecraft mania (hey0 plugin) has a cart dispenser (chest and sign) so it's possible.

My current project is setting up a tunnel system to another island with heaps of redstone. Sad thing is, I ain't very good at using redstone so it's taking a while. :P

Changed from previous due to new server plans.

Going to gather resources, start building a town from scratch and then put a mining shaft underneath one of the buildings. Last time I did this, I came out with 32 diamonds, 137 iron, 54 gold, stupid amounts of redstone & coal - along with 3 separate cave systems.

Just spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out how to build a moat to kill all mobs, failed completely and found out spiders can now escape most traps with there climbing ability :( FML

Downgraded to play SMP, found more caverns underneath the town, spent the last 2 hours in them. Hauled around 20 diamonds, 200 iron, 300 coal and a lousy 78 gold. Still more unexplored areas!

Also clearing a mountain for more building space! :D

You're telling me. In another mining shaft I hauled 16 opening up room to find ore/cave systems. A cluster of 8, cluster of 6 and then 4 <3
Then an extra 10-15 with a few friends in the caves I uncovered.

1. Dig stairway to bedrock
2. Go back up 14-16 blocks.
3. Open up a huge room to uncover ores/caves.
4. ?????
5. Profit

I dug out A HUGE amount of area straight downwards under my forest (Tom's server) and then started branch mining. Didn't find a single thing until I hit into another person's branch mine so I abandoned that altogether.

The wool burnt down the first time I built it so I just /gave myself replacement wool took to long to get it all in the first place :P

Tempted to make it into a mining system with carts going to different areas.

I agree, you should get those designs for spheres of different size and put a semi-sphere on top.

Offline i'm making my city/town.

On the server i'm starting a "stairway" project, but it's going to take ages to complete since i have so much else going on.

Made like a subway with above railway stations and then planning on creating towns and roads around it.

Only problem was the fact that whenever a minecart went on a booster by itself it slowed down a few paces ahead. Making it impossible to put it on a continuous loop around the track :/
