Our ties aren't compulsory most of the time, so we just wear it every so often. Unfortunately we are made wear them the proper way always :(

the kinda loose knot and YouCanOnlySee1cmOfIt kinda tie. Sometimes it comes undone, but ah well. I wear it like down under/on my boobs XD it goes under my jumper, so ye :P

I have a medium bit at the front and the back tucked in to my shirt and my top button usually undone. I get a sense of maturity when wearing a tie, probably weird but you know...

I prefer the thin bit at the front but we're not allowed so I just have it loose with a bigger-than-usual knot and only just showing the school crest.

I do mine with a fat big knot and make the tie around 5cm long. Thats how i prefer it. but we are made to where them properly.

Be great for you tho' Consrvative not having the crest on view, imagine the Teachers seeing the crest tucked in your Shirt an this illustrating the crest is less important!

I think you are talking just total rubbish here! That is just an evil thing to say.
If you think like that prove i'm creepy!!? I have nothing at all to hide and have nothing to either.

Normal and looking smart. Just like anyone with half a brain cell does.

Glad to see we have gone from 'Skl' to 'Skwl'.
We're forced to have clip-on ties.. :L
But yah, I undo my top button and put it on the ->> side of the collar like everybody in my school does.

I had to wear a tie from year 7-9 before they did away with the old uniform and changed it to polo shirts which you could wear anyway you liked as long as you wore it like a shirt is supposed to be worn :D. But I used to wear it properly at first, like in year 7, but by the time I was in year 9 I just wore it like everyone else, loose as hell with a somewhat giant knot. They used to force us to have out top buttons done up as well, but they gave up after about an hour and just let us be with a disgrace attempt at weaing a uniform xD! The only time we had to tie it properly was during certain events and such, or on field trips in which we were representing the school and all that. If I can remember, I cut my tie in half when I went into year 10, other people burned theirs which was quite funny.

I'd still wear it on the thin side - even been made to do it properly on a field trip etc Lol!

Everyone makes a big deal out of it, but is it really that bad?
Gets rid of bullying for what people have - and that could be bullying for having money. Also, would you tell your employers that you will refuse to wear a suit?

Thread solved, thought I'd randomly Google tie fetish to see if something that weird actually existed and what do you know:
A tie fetish is a fetish for seeing people, normaly boys, wearing ties. It stems from the often overly casual look many teenage boys have adopted. They don't understand girls like to see them dressed up nice every once and a while. The object in question, accordingly, is not the tie itself, but the fact that the boy is done up nice in the first place. Dress clothes are reeeealy fun to un-dress.
