This is like the weirdest thing i've even seen! A friend showed it to me and it basically can guess any person you are thinking of, normally in under 20 q's. I've even tried really hard people/characters who are not very well known and it still gets them. I've tricked it sometimes though.

Give it a go, just think of any character, real or fake and then answer the questions truthfully.

I did a search for James Toseland one of my favourite motorcycle racers and the questions were so generic and it managed to find it, so I thought it may have something to do with internet search history so I'm gonna try something I've never been on the site for.

Thats how i found it really weird, how most of the questions are so generic and they could be for anyone. But some of the people i were thinking of, i have never googled :S

Yeah i stumped it a few times, but 9 out of 10 times it doesn't get stumped.

Then when you stump it you can enter the name etc so it 'learns' the more popular it gets, technically the better it gets.

I think you've got us all hooked Dan :P

It guessed Rupert Grint and the last two questions were "Do they play a student?" and "Do they play a character in Harry Potter?" - they were the only two questions you could guess it from and tbh from those two questions, it could have been a lot of people.

Hecktix

the first few questions are random and it gives you really poorly related questions it suffers, I find.

It's a massive database probably gathered from thousands of internet pages and it asks you questions until someone becomes unique, because you've answered so many questions it's like 1/100 that it'll be wrong.

I think it's lower than 1/100 - think of two people similar who most if not all answers would be the same for - it gets confused as hell xD

Beat it! I thought of Stephen King and it came up with Cormac McCarthy :P. It just keeps coming up with authors I've never even heard of now.

mine went from "is he white" (no) to "is he black" (no) to "is he korean" (yes) idk why it would ask korean after black and white..... then "is it a singer" (yes), "is it in a 10+ band" (yes) then started asking stupid questions like "does it bite", "does it always wear headphones", "is it hated by everything?" that's not even relevant to the questions before nor could you have guessed who i was thinking of through them.... they had 13 people to chose from idk how any of those questions related to him. got it right in the end so obviously some internet history o.o

I beat him on a glee question, he asked " is this person in glee" quite quickly but then instead of Brittany he said Quinn (a)

I found this a while ago and am yet to stump it. I think I had a success a while ago with characters from this obscure book series I read, but it's a bit like, hmm to be able to get away with that!

-Danube-
18-01-2011, 07:11 PM
I think it mainly gets it wrong when you answer the questions differently then it expects, so you haven't really tricked it, you just think of someone differently to how it thinks of like person. For example, it not being able to guess michael jackson or piers morgan.
