MSN have now decided to do the most unforgiveable thing ever.. force people to download 2011.

Seriously.. how could they do this? I loved the MSN 2009 and now I have to use the awful 2011 program.. thats it moving to skype. :(

Considering XP users can't use 2011 we're not forced to upgrade, which suits me :P if you can get a downgrade somewhere all that should have to happen is for you to right click > properties > compatibility and choose to run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP, then it'll think you can't get the upgrade and will let you use the old version

i've done the same as you. i've started using skype alot more, and so have a load of my friends. Windows Live Messenger 2011 is awful.

Are you on XP? I had some forced upgrade a couple of weeks back but it didn't change anything because it realised it couldn't run on this lol

I got 2011 when it first came out and whenever I tried downgrading I lost all new contacts. >.<

Same here. I'm on Windows 7, it forced me to download it and it's still 2009 and working lol.
