I was just wondering if anybody had an account on Last.fm (http://www.last.fm/).
I just joined, and I am still figuring it all out, but if you do have one could I add you?
Or maybe explain to me how the site works. Thanks!

It's really simple, just download the last.fm scrobbler, listen to music as you normally would and you're away. The rest of the stuff on the site is quite self-explanatory.

even though you can have "friends" it's not really about social networking. its more about just discovering new music.

I believe I added everyone. I understand that this isn't a social networking site and it's to get to discover new music. I am perfectly fine with that. I love discovering new music. Because when I get older and I start DJing irl. I don't want to play the same old boring stuff. I want to be able to play new stuff too. Open peoples eyes to new music. I love searching for music, discovering great music, .. I enjoy it so much. Thanks everyone!

i think last.fm does this thing now which, if you're a new user, imports your itunes/winamp library history as well, so the last.fm client has just picked up on all those plays as well.
