I got a computer which has all my data on outlook and I recently got a laptop with the same version of office. I wish to sync the data via both ways.

Whats the best way of doing this? Is microsoft exchange the best idea? If so, any reccmendations? I also wish to use my domain if I can.

Thank you.

Just use IMAP email, it stores everything on the server and will keep the two Outlooks in sync.

I forgot to say I use two gmail accounts and a domain email account which is forwarded to one of the gmail accounts.

So I have two Gmail accounts (In theory), how can I come around doing this?

As well as that, I need my contacts and calandar synced as well as notes.

Are all these contacts in Gmail? I'm fairly certain you just sync Gmail to Outlook (https://mail.google.com/mail/#settings/fwdandpop) and it will transfer all contacts and email, and then sync them. Calendar should work in the same way. If Outlook has changed (or stayed the same, can't remember what version I saw), you should be able to add different accounts, so in theory you do the same as above and add the other account.

Sounds too hard work tbh.

Would mircosoft exchange be suitable?

Would mircosoft exchange be suitable? It'd be overkill to be honest, setting up and paying for a server to synchronize just two Outlooks. It's designed for quite big businesses to be fair. It'd also be pretty difficult so I'd forget about this even if it is probably the "ideal solution", it's not plausible. It would be an awful lot more hard-work.

What you want is this it seems; http://www.oggsync.com/

Install this to both your computers and select a Gmail account to synchronize your calendar/contacts with (It doesn't matter which). Any changes you make with either Outlook will be synchronized to the Internet and downloaded on to the other Outlook. Setup both gmail accounts on each Outlook and you're done :)

Or buy hosted exchange which is about £4/mo?

Lew.You can but that's still not an "easy" solution, it'll require setting up still and of course you're paying quite a lot of money (£48 per year for syncing some contacts and calendars) when it can be done almost as easily for free.
