Ideas To Improve Habbo Hotel

I've been thinking over my recent time spent on Habbo since I quit back in 08, what could Habbo improve on further to make their game better and attract more people?

My reasoning behind this thread is this, if one person could submit a really good idea of their own to improve the hotel, we can compile the list together and send it as a suggestion to Habbo on how to make their game a little better.

This can be ideas ranging from marketing, designing, in-game functionality or even good furniture ideas!

I have one idea to submit to Habbo which is this

An input 'x' amount option - Reasoning behind this: Big trades can get tiresome just spam clicking the offer button, why not just have an input 'x' option, that way transactions are easier and take much less time!

I agree with your idea i must say, especially back in the old days when you was buying thrones for 160 hc's, spam clicking was very tiring.

Agreed with your input one, once I was trading over 40+ tiles (Not that big of an amount) and once I hit 40, I disconnected..

Anyways I'd say bring back original games. Why? More fun, was better and efficient.
Customisable Homepages.. Like Staff admins have? But have a filter of what is acceptable and what isn't (Mod can filter it?).. So choose backgrounds, stickers, etc. Why? So its not too bland!

A 'timed' ban. Sure we've had those 15 K&B ones for a while but we may want 5 minutes, we may want an hour. I feel that it would be more useful for us to have it vary from 5 minutes say, to an hour.. maybe more.

Medium sized rooms, around 150 tile ones. If possible, perhaps square/rectangular rooms with a customisable size ( x*x tiles, not layout - may get too confusing)

I agree with most of the suggestions posted above, some great ideas!

I wish they would get rid of the marketplace. Why? It makes all rares go overall way down in price, particularly supers. Not to mention it's really anoying to have people always saying "it's this price in the mp stupid" when most of them don't even understand the 1c commision in the mp.

One thing what I've noticed since the big merge is that some furni names have gone wrong for example (hosp_24_q) some are like that. They need to fix it.

They make money out of marketplace so commission will stay. I have suggested the trade one before, hopefully it will be implemented one day.

I agree with all the things so far.

Another thing to add to my Runescape & Habbo improvements list (what they can learn from each other) - the X amount for furni lol.

Anyway, I want them to get rid of the MP - not gunna happen though. :l Bring back old games and trax & photos. I like the customisable room sizes & homepages. Good ideas. I can't think of any improvements myself at the moment but I'm sure some will come

- Change the coins back to 1c for 1c instead of 1c for 2c
- Create more furni, As in habbo could let some people create it for them. Like the real big pixel art and alt makers
- And yes remove the market place because people just go ballistic selling mode furni for 10100c.
- No more quests x.x Invent another thing.
- Maybe put more coins up for sale in the coins section in habbo and then people may buy more (of course they whould put the prices up on them)
- Snowtorm and Battle ball back, Get rid of freeze and the ice tag thing. Battle Banazai is alright.

Also bring back being able to drop furni down in people's rooms. Even though some people say "oh no scammers", if people were just more safe/more careful, it wouldn't matter tbh and it'd make my job much easier (giving out prizes) :D

- 2 rights options full rights and none furni rights (good for businesses etc)
- a hobba/habbo X system but only for users over 16/habbos with the X 5 years badge
- General clothes updates for all
-allowing the habbo to edit their room settings when they are not in room (just like old days)
-Habbos can put posters over doors again.

I liked the idea of the 'x' by 'y' room.. But it could be like, build your room? Put tiles where you want them etc.
Wouldnt mind see a proper Habbo-Mod team.
Better gaming system.

I thought the market place was a nice idea, seeing as you don't have to go around looking for furni or buying overpriced stuff imo.
But there should be a limit though..

You pay for the same amount of credits but they wanna take your habbo credits so in that point they are getting more money out of what you paid for because you are mainly getting 6c out of 12c.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Unfortunately habbo will never change the cred exchange back to 1c for 1c as it would lose money for them :(

I've noticed something that really has bugged me though, it's about events.

Find it annoying when you're looking in shops or casinos etc and you keep popping in the same room over and over because they change the event name?

Solution :

Put a marker, or some kind of indication that you've already visited that room. So you don't keep visiting it over and over, as they can change the event name. Clear these markers after 'x' amount of time

Half of the people that put ff and cc in the "games section" most likey will be scamming because they dont have trading and will go aw brb add me then go offline and delete you as a friend.

Hmmm about the point made about games rooms. The reason I'm guessing it was removed in the first place was because in games like falling furni, people would trade you to stop you getting the chair etc. So it wouldn't be ok just to implement trade back in the room for everyone..

Solution:

Allow trading in games rooms, but the trading option is only available for the room owner. Therefore prizes could be exchanged, but you wouldn't have the problem of people trading while in-game.


Some of these solutions seem surprisingly easy to implement and take very little thought to think of, surely Habbo should take note of some of these. Some of them have been quite good. :)

Another is, to get rid of the scammers, once someone is reported of scam.

I just believe that the community has no say any more, it's all about money. We all sit here complaining yet most of us still play it.

I would love to see the marketplace average removed and the fansites given publicity.

Yes the averages just ruin it because habbo staff / sulake think most of the people are going to put it in for cheap.... Think again :O..

And there most likey never going to change the 1c for 2c to 1c to 1c back because theyl loose money.. As said before :P

Yes to the fansite publicity idea. Just after the merge, the fansites were announced and on it, it said they were going to do something about fansites in the coming months. It's been like 6 months.

I would like to see that come back because the mods are mainly doing a **** job but one thing.... Habbo may choose the wrong Habbos and they will abuse like back when eXperts were around

Nice solution to the problem, however i think there was another reason for removing the trade as well which was the large amount of scams.

But it obviously isn't preventing scams, you can just update the room settings to trade now. So it may as well be implemented in the way I mentioned? Just makes life easier. :)
