Although I love it! I think using myBB will not help you in any way.
^^ you're supposed to click the banner ha
just from a quick glance, i would recommend investing in (or better yet, creating) a better skin for the forum. a graphics forum should have a nice one that's not this plain

I plan on making a lot of changes to the current theme. (I've actually made a few changes tonight).

Any reasoning behind that comment?
There are a hell of a lot of extremely popular forums with huge member bases which use MyBB software.
I have used just about every forum software available, and found MyBB the best for me by far.
It's incredibly user friendly (in comparison to how complicated and annoying the like of VBulletin are).
Also, it's free so no complaints what so ever.
lol your little banner in your sig reminds me of "Nickleodeon" :L
Just gonna say this straight away, if I was browsing websites, or got told to visit that, the first thing I would think when I see that home page is that the site is going to be really boring and serious and formal and not a place many people would want to visit. Graphics don't have to mean black and plain :(
Like someone else said, it'll definitely be worth investing in some more skins, maybe one themed so it works well with the logo?
Good luck with the site though.

I agree, it reminds me of it too!
Personally for me, I think the skin of the forum is a little boring and I'm not too keen on the layout of it all. I think the colours need changing and I don't like the fact there's no like intro page. But that's just my opinion of course. Whatever happens though, love the idea of the Forum and good luck with it!
Also, at the bottom of the page, the link called 'Talk GFX' doesn't work, it links to http://talkgfx.net/talkgfx.net :P
