Okay, so as of yesterday my computer was running fine. I'm just doing my normal thing, then everything completely freezes. I can't move my mouse, type, or click anything. The only way I can shut down is by holding the power button. Now, every few hours it would just randomly freeze like that. The laptop is pretty new, so there isn't a problem with the space and stuff. I ran a virus scan and there were no viruses. I deleted browsing history, and even did a system recovery to a date before this started occurring. I don't know much about computers and I really don't want to have to send it into a shop and have to wait to get it fixed. By the way, this also happens alot when I'm running a java program like runescape.

If anybody knows why this might be happening and how I can fix this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sounds like your GPU is overheating. Buy one of those laptop cooler things.

When the laptop crashes, does the 'num lock' key still work?
