kk so recently I've been getting this well weird thing when I'm laying down in bed kk. I think it might be a brain tumour or something but anyway so

it's like really hard to explain but say I'm lying on my side, the side of my face is resting on my pillow and then I turn my head so I'm looking at the ceilling.. For about 3-5 seconds after I turn my head I get this numb feeling in the side of my face as if my head hasn't turned at all when it has and then I go all confuzzled for half a second and then think wtf was that.

or to put it more simple..
For a few seconds after turning my head in bed it feels as if the inside of my head has turned but the outside hasn't moved and then I get a weird confuzzlement

oh and it happens like 3 times a night and sometimes I actually get it even when I don't turn my head :S I dunno it's some freaky confusing **** okay

Am I going to die and how can I ease the pain if I get some before I slip away into eternal peace?

Thank you

The first thing I thought was that it could be some sort of stroke or seizure, but in all honasty I've never really heard of a condition like yours. It could be related to so many different things. I would recommend going to see your doctor, or contacting NHS Direct if you're not willing to go for a clinical diagnosis at the moment, although I would imagine they would tell you to see the doctor as well.

I would get it checked out Stephen, it is obviously worrying you. It could actually be an ear problem that causes it as they effect the balance etc.

Asking for medical advice on a forum full of kids is silly and dangerous. Go see a doctor.

K I think I found what it is but it still doesn't explain the weird numbing feeling so I'm guessing there's something else wrong aswell

That sounds pretty serious then. I would recommend seeing a doctor asap just to be on the safe side.

If it is a problem with the inner ear you need antibiotics so see a doctor!

I had labyrynthitus once and left it - I have never felt so ill in my life.

Just check it out, and probably avoid making it go numb however you do as it could just make it worse

also when I initially read the title, I honestly thought it was to do with wet dreams.

can't avoid turning over in bed :P And it still goes numb sometimes when I'm laying still

the numbness is like a warm feeling on the side of my face

but I'll see if it goes and if not I'll go to a doctor. But hey if it's something that's gonna kill me 100% then I might aswell spend most of my time on hxf before I go

You can't get relief posting on here! ;) Nobody can diagnose anything better than a doctor can. They'll take away your worries and help you resolve your problem. If you don't go as soon as possible it could turn in to a big thing! It's like that window cracking thing in the Auto Glass advert.

Get in a car and go to the doctors. If i thought it was a brain tumour or Benign ear thingy, I don't think i would be sat in bed.

nah I always say stuff is a brain tumour. I'll just see how I am and then go to the doctors if it don't go.

My motto goes.. If you feel any pain then go to the doctors

I don't feel pain tho I just go weirddddddddd. Anyway it could be anything. I get stress like no other and I haven't slept until like 4-6am everyday for the past year which wiki says makes that vertigo thing worse. And tbh I don't feel all that good in the head when I wake up everyday so mixed with common things it's probably something simple and normal that can be cured with a few early nights and less stressing

Some of the simplest symptoms which no one seems to think about can actually indicate a serious condition when put together. At the very least you should contact a doctor or the NHS just to see if its anything they consider to be an issue which needs to get checked out.

If its nothing, you haven't lost anything, but you gained peace of mind. If it is something then you'll get medical care for it. But if you don't go, you may find out too late and could risk causing serious damage to your body.

I think it's silly that you haven't yet booked an appointment after you initially seemed so worried. It could be nothing, but with it involving your head it could be serious. Get to the doctors, boy
