Lets say you get a 'Merit' in BTEC I.T or something during your AS could you then during A2 go back to it and get the distinction stuff so that your AS could be distinction? or once you get to A2 is it too late to do AS? thanks.

I think it would depend on your college if they (and you) have the time to redo / edit the work and they have the time to re submit it / re mark it. Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
