How long does sperm and pre-ejaculation live when exposed to the air?
Does pre-ejaculation contain sperm?

Pre-ejaculation does contain sperm and as Recursion has said it survives a few hours.

yeah sperm lives like up to 3/4 hours or something if the right temp, and pre-ejaculation contains something like 10000 sperms.

I'm guessing some silly man got sticky fingers then foolishly decided to play with a kitty cat.

Pre-Ejaculation can contain sperm, highly likely but sometimes cannot.. And I know it can depend on the temperature.
I know mine lasted a few minutes due to the heat (Was testing it) and it just turned to fluid and dissolved.

Sperm is very unlikely to live when exposed to the air, the temperatures usually have an effect on how long.
Pre-ejaculation can contain sperm but a very little amount.
For example, If you've got yourself into a situation where you were intimate with someone without protection and sperm that was open to the air came into contact with their "sexual area" then if it was a female I would advise a pregnancy test. I've tried my best to keep my explanation as clear as clean can be!
Inseriousity.

Does that mean that even when you've not got actually semen yet, that you can get someone pregnant?

Theoretically yes but not in any normal situation and even then it's unlikely.

Semen is what is ejaculated that contains the sperm. It's the sperm that fertilizes a woman's egg and causes her to become pregnant.

Sounds like someone's had an oops. You can get someone pregnant with pre *** yes, and it lasts maybe 10 minutes out in the open. ... though I wouldn't be taking any chances with that because I've heard it CAN last longer. ALWAYS use protection, and don't get it on that area at all. I'd be getting her to take a pregnancy test. Though pre come doesn't have much sperm in it, all it needs is one, remember.

If it doesn't contain any semen at all in, then no.
