View Full Version : Murray looses, Djokovic wins
Well, yet again another loss for Murray in a grand slam, as he lost to Djokovic in straight sets of 6-4, 6-2, 6-3. From viewing it, Murray still needs a lot of work for a win, as he committed way too many errors.
Anyway was a nice game none the less :).

Just watched, pro master class from Djokovic! Love him too bits and hope he wins more Grand Slams in the future. Murray got a few chances to try and turn things around but to be honest he was outplayed by the constant pressure put on him.
Murray wasn't too bad but Djokovic was awesome!
Let's hope he doesn't, ahem, loose, next time!
Oh my god, yet again this is the outcome of all of Andy Murray's hard work. I seriously think he should take a year out and focus on training himself up to be the best he can be, if this happend maybe he'd have a chance of winning Wimbledon!
Not watched it... But i dont like Murray for reasons i'll not go into ... So im glad he lost
I was loling at how pissed he seemed in the background when Djokovic was having his winner's speech.
Unlucky murray, maybe next time. Probably not, but maybe.

I don't think Murray was that bad, it was just that Djokovic was a lot better!
Was a good match; hopefully Murray will win something sooner rather than later.

I'm English now.
Lol, but yeah Djockovic just destroyed Murray. Murray played well but Djockovic was in another league...he deserved to win.

It always surprises me everyone forgets about tin henman.
Well done to *REMOVED* or however you spell the name. He played a better game :)

I know right!
Nah without a doubt it was obvious Djokovic was going to win this. Nice try Murray, nice try. You may have the chance to win a grand slam in due time.

Tim Henman did pretty well to be fair, top 5/6 in the world and 4 Wimbledon semis so that's not bad...but in England (Britain) if you don't win, you're not remembered.

No I disagree. You can't just say that cos they came 2nd they won't be remembered. It works the other way round as well, I'm sure plenty of other athletes who have won something aren't remembered. It depends on key traits that they have: mainly personality, for good or bad.

Yeah but this would hold back his experience on the current level of tennis. The game changes ever so much, but then again Clijsters came back to win 3 slams. Anyway, I think it was the mental edge that Djokovic had in the final which caused him to play so much better than Murray.

Murray isn't good enough to win, he was given an ideal situation in that Federer and Nadal were out. Frankly I can't see him ever winning one.
They are in a league of their own.

I was saying it because the thread a few days ago "do you say British or English" or w/e loads of people said English unless Andy Murray wins...lol.
My post was pretty sarcastic...of course people are remembered if you don't win - Euro 96 - Gaza's tears, England Vs. Turkey - David Beckham's awful free kick.
Eddie the eagle as you said. And many more...
